  6. :( no response from PJ yet, I know if she has asthma to the extent of a dear friend of mine she may still be resting/recovering in bed and honestly have not much energy for anything else including emails. If anyone knew her phone # they might be able to text her or at the extreme do a check welfare thru the local law enforcement. I know thats been done before.....

  10. Yeah I know and I have been worried about her too. I sent a message to Ms. Kubik on her FB page asking about Paula, so will see how that goes too.

    Right now I'm in Dickinson, ND spending time with my grandma Ann while we wait for news on my aunt Paula Kubik who was rushed to Billings, MT for surgery late Friday night and is still in the ICU three days later. Lots of unknowns at this point, so we're just waiting. Which really stinks. I don't know how long I'm going to be here (and not in Fargo). Your thoughts and prayers for one of my "second-moms" are greatly appreciated. (Couldn't think of a better way to get this out quickly, so pardon the Facebook etiquette breach.)

  11. Wow,so she wasn't discharged as the other hospital said,sounds like she was transferred to another hospital for surgery. [Stupid dumba$$ hospital person] :( Prayers and positive thoughts PJ.

    Oh!!!!! So glad you found me!! You guys are just why I put it up! Today she is finally doing better. Took out her breathing tube and feeding tube. Her first question two days ago was to ask about Molly. (who is with a friend and hating every minute without her human). Still playing it by ear tho. She may have to get a kidney removed but that is worst case. I think the best thing you could do would be to send cards or funny Internet things to her at the billings clinic. The nurses could read them to her. Her spirits are definitely better hearing from you guys would go a long long way!!!

    Keep he'd in your thoughts! I know those food vibes make a difference.

  23. Didn't get the address yet but did send an e=greeting, the site said that they print it out on nice paper and the nurses will read it if need be.

  25. I figured she must be pretty sick when the nurse kept intercepting my call,it really confused me that she was supposedly discharged. I'm glad you were able to find what really happened Deb.
    I'll definitely send a card when I figured out for sure what address.
    Sending more positive thoughts and prayers.

  30. On Mandy Kubik's FB page: Flu. Some weird strain. Led to opportunistic pneumonia, led to a blood infection, led to kidney failure. Very scary.
