  1. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING LITTERMATES!!!!!

Da kittehs are readying the morning fare with more than the usual amount of bustle.

Fur flies as kittens tussle, energized by all the activity. Teenage kits whip fresh tablecloths onto the tables and others fly by with flowers and table service. Hurry, kitties!

Elder queens open one sleepy eye, close it again, and bury their heads with their front feet. Too much action too early for them!

Soon, wafting smells of honeybaked ham, bacon sizzling, and French toast cooking fill the air...raisins, cinnamon, NOM!

French kits bring out the special filled pastries, Belgian kits bring out the dark chocolate fountain with fresh fruit for dipping!

Anything you want is available today, the cafe doors are open and the company is fine! Come on in!

  2. Oooooh - it smells GREAT in here! Hi Sio! I'm in the mood for a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant and some pineapple juice. Will have to stop back again for some fresh fruit dipping.
Scritches to my friend Hermes - Luna and Willow too of course, from Auntie Joan.

  5. Morning, folks. I'm happy to report that Georgie was a good boy last night after being a brat yesterday morning & the previous night.

I think I've pretty much given up on getting a call about the job :( And I'm starting to notice that lots of people at work are saying all the right things about trying to help, but every time one of them says they're going to do something specific, it doesn't happen :(

Sorry to be such a downer. I think I'll grab a Dove hot chocolate and curl up by the cafe fireplace with a couple of kittens to snuggle.

  6. Morning Kilroy, here comes little orangie fluffer w/your cocoa along w/cuddling kaboodle! Good boy Georgie! Hey, sometimes it is worth calling them back just in case plus they know you are interested in them too! (I had a friend who called back a bit later & the first hire didn't work out & she got another interview & was hired!)

  7. Our kitties were having fun last night on their multi-level condo construct. Luna was on a top shelf, Hermes on the one below, with Willow below Hermes.

Herm's tail was a very attractive toy for both girls but Herm was getting annoyed and finally ventured a nip at Willow's paw. When he'd do that, Luna would use the opportunity to smack the back of his head from above.

I don't think Hermes liked being the 'filling' of a girl kitty sandwich.

  8. Awwww, poor Hermes. Sound's like Luna's sticking up for her sis :)

Posted 4 months ago by Kilroy #

  9. Awww, Hermes, come thru the wormhole, Auntie Joan needs to cuddle wif you.

  11. Deb! Birds have come back to my yard! The little ones still won't come to the window feeder, but I repaired and filled a few others in anticipation of the snow on Saturday.

Posted 4 months ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

  12. Thanks Deb. I screwed up my courage and sent an email asking for an update; no answer yet, but I'm jumping every time a new email comes into my inbox :P

Yay for birdies, Joan! Free entertainment :)

  14. Tee hee, thanks for the fun Deb!
Good luck Kilroy...remb doesn't hurt to be in their face esp if you liked the place & thought you'd be a good match! (Taken from hire center class days a few years ago!)
It is almost lunchin' time on National Peanut Butter Day! So kits have also made some treats as peanut butter fudge, choco peanut butter fudge, peanut butter cookies and there is bryers choco w/peanut butter icecream (was my mom's fave) in the freezer! So, I am grabbing another cuppa joe & a scoop or 2 of cpb ice cream in mom's memory & out I go to the patio w/Tux in tow...

Posted 4 months ago by jeankit #

  15. Those are funny, Deb!

*groan* I am discovering that the unfortunate habit of eating is not only expensive, but is also a giant time sink. Do they really have to restock every aisle during the busy times of the day?

Posted 4 months ago by WillowandWindismom #

  16. Kilroy, glad you sent an email - it's worth it to reach out to them.
*passes scoop of cpb ice cream to JK* I like the choco, but not the pb.
WWM, I've learned never, ever, go down the medicine isle when the bus from Dial A Ride is there!

Posted 4 months ago by JoanfromNewJersey #

  17. Not sure what day/nite it is easy to go to the grocery store for it is always busy w/less lanes open when I'm there!
Thanks Joan, I acutally enjoy the dark choco ice cream more that pb too...as wipes choco mustache & heads back to wurk, later kits!

http://news.yahoo.com/arkansas-democrats-cat-killed-painted-liberal-211435575.html Be careful, very sad! Calling all TDKers toatin' whack bonk sticks for the soundrels who used a pet for their political view points...shame!

Posted 4 months ago by jeankit #

  20. JK, saw this about 5 am @ that place, how sad for the family and sick of those j**ka$$es who did that to the kitty.

Posted 4 months ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  21. Yup, sooo sad. Poor little kit. This certainly must have made an impression on the children too! Hope they find the $#%&jerk/s & throw the book at them!

  23. Left for work at 6.55 this morning and got back at 8.35 this evening. Garbo is now on my lap and I'm too tired to push her off and get up to get something to eat. Sooooooooooo tired ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

    Posted 4 months ago by Pollys_Mum_in_UK_2605 #

  24. *Kilroy gently eases Garbo off of PM's lap and settles her in a comfy spot, then tucks a blanket around PM* What can I get you from the kitchen?

Posted 4 months ago by Kilroy #

  25. DD has made some stew that is simmering in the slow cooker. A small bowl of that would be lovely. Thank you Kilroy.
Parents' evenings are great, but not on Tuesdays. I start teaching at 8.00 go straight through until 5.00 (no free lessons), then the parents start arriving at 6.00.

  26. Oof, that's a long day.

  27. Hi y'all! How is everyone??? I hurt from head to toe but am home with my favorite girls, on the heating pad and have a Ginger Ale. All is good.

    Posted 4 months ago by mollycat71 #

  28. Sorry to hear that you hurt again MC. And what a difference it makes not focusing on the pain, so enjoy that heating pad and Ginger Ale!

Posted 4 months ago by SoxsMom #

  29. Thanks SM, I do like sitting here with my girls, catching the news, and having a cold Ginger Ale. It's nice to relax.

    Posted 4 months ago by mollycat71 #

  30. Evening all, we have summer visiting for the second day straight. I hope I haven't tempted fate by saying that. Spent the afternoon picking kilos of plums in the scorching sun and now have hours of standing over a hot stove making plum sauce.
MC, sorry you're aching so much.
PM, what a very long day. Sweet dreams.
