  1. The egg shell was formed copper. There are pieces of the "shell" in the bottom of the nest.
    Thanks. If you like weird, my art is all very weird - except for most of the cat-inspired ones.

  2. SMM - was thinking about your problem with Mia. I asked awhile back about how to deal with a problem a friend was having with her aggressive cat and someone said to pick the cat up by the scruff of the neck to show you are the dominant one.

  4. Tikka is off exploring at the moment. All the doors are open and she has the run of the house for the first time in days. (Not that closed doors posed any impediment!) I'm sure she'll be back on the computer later complaining. Not only is there fresh paint on the walls and doors, we have moved some furniture around and dismantled a bed she used to like to sleep under in the afternoons! So one of her favourite nap spots is gone! The princess will NOT be pleased!

Well y'all I hate to be a party pooper..but it's time to go spend some quality time with my much neglected Mr. and the kids...We're getting a bell-ball soccer match going..or as they call it over the big pond...football game! Have fun tonight and stay away from the cybermobile if you're drinking excessively...wouldn't want anyone to get hurt...lol..see y'all tomorrow..

  25. The conversation moves much more briskly at night.

    Slept a little better last night, but I didn't get to sleep until late and my cats decided that 6 a.m. was play time.

    Have put off the job search in the Midwest, despite a tempting opening in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, because work has gotten crazy here in Waco. I'm at the beginning of two major projects and am struggling to get a co-worker in line.
