    Deb, I can do the finger-twiddling bit but the toes are not liking the work bit. They are not so good at hitting the keyboard.

    I love apricots too! Mmmmmmmm, yummy. Apricot danish are a really yummy way to get your fruit intake, lol.

    Miss Millie knocked herself and the lamp off the desk tonight with the most almighty crash when I was on the phone and so I was too late to catch her. Miss Millie seems to be all right, just spooked by the noise, but I'm afraid the lamp will never be the same again. Oh well, it was only $10 off Trademe...

    Oh I feel your pain on the lamp, between Haje and Red they knocked off the desk lamp and I fear it will not be the same. Thank goodness I have other lamps waiting for places to be. Poor baby girl has scared herself, maybe she needs a touch of rescue remedy too. Kitty is so loving at times, ok when he has me all to himself and then when the others are near he is a pain in the behind...being very, very soft is his saving grace :)

    Hate to say it, but my eyelids are trying hard to watch me. So I am headed off to bed and see if they will actually just stayed closed and let me sleep for some time.

    May you both sleep well and have sweet dreams, scritches to the girls in the morning (extra little headbonk for Millie and her feeling spooked right now).

    Oh Millie sweetie, I'm glad you're ok but the lamp, hmmmm. I'm glad I don't have a cat that jumps onto things other than the bed and wherever I'm sitting.

    ROTFLMAO, guess who just used the laptop as a shortcut.
    Now as I was saying, bach flower remedies are made with alcohol I believe. Not sure f that would be good for Mr Kitty or not.

    Nighty-night, Deb, sweet dreams and sleep well. Miss Millie had a snuggle and a snooze on my lap during the late news and now she is tucked up on the couch while Libs is asleep on her chair and the pheromones of Feliway are gently wafting through the living-room air. Poor Kitty sounds like he wants you all to himself, Deb, he is a one-person cat and he wants you to be a one-cat woman, lol. Give him a little smooch from me.

    Shadz is a trifle wired tonight. She isn't walking from A to B but dashing madly with mat scattering speed. I'm not sure what is up with her but she seems happy enough having just polished off a bowl of meat and one of milk.

    Perhaps she is full of the joys of spring, MS, or having an attack of the kitten crazies. I usually hope that if I fill Miss Millie up with enough meat, she will sleep for a bit... I really hope that is what she's doing now, at least until I've finished the last page of this report...

    morning friends!................ oh dear, sorry for the 'loss' of the lamp!......... it's been years (literally) since one of mine sent something crashing from above!........ Abby would NEVER jump up on something that she knows its not allowed, and Miss Cuddles (after she knocked my great Aunt's 100+ year old vase off the mantel) is too old to jump that high anymore...... they both are way too ingrained in their routines to veer astray! LOL

    .............hope you guys have a restful sleep........... Im only here for a bit until I head out to 'that place'

    Jan, actually there are some of the Bach remedies that are made w/o alcohol and specifically for animals :)

    Jane, I am sure that Kitty would love me to be a one-cat woman or that he would allow at least Lil Girl (they seem perfectly comfy with each other). Too bad he was the last member of the crew to enter the household, lol.

    Morning Deb, and anyone else who's lurking about.

    We have a send-off party after work tonight; I've been to way too many of these over the years but never as a guest of "honor". Hoping that lots of folks who have moved on to other places will show up so I can network like crazy.

    I forgot to recharge the Ipod last night (because I'm an idiot) and am praying to the tech gods that it doesn't conk out on me today while I'm packing tapes; doing this project without my Duran Duran = recipe for insanity.

    Morning Kilroy, I hope that tons of ppl show up too...networking is a good thing. And no my friend, you are far from being an idiot, heck a lot of us 'forget' to charge things....phones, iPods, etc.

    I don't watch the Big Bang Theory but there will be an astronaut on there tonight.
