The hotel is called the Westgate Inn. It is part of the Westgate resort and it is right next to Sizzler's, which is where we are going to have lunch on Sunday. I have reserved 5 rooms (they gave us a group rate, YEA!) and I will comfirm this when we know for sure when everyone will be coming.

Well, I plan on going since boss said he would give me some of his miles to fly business class. I was checking the schedule and they sure limit when you can fly using these miles. At least that was on American Airlines. I am going to see if he has miles he can give me on United Airlines as I would prefer to fly them.
I plan on being there Apr 4-7, 2008. This will be my first real vacation in over 10 years (even if it is a short one).

Boss offered the miles but until I go to buy the ticket..we will see if he follows through on his offer.
With the kitties, what I will probably do is load up on dry food and put out some wet food. I can go to the local Petco to see about buying a water resevoir to attach to their current waterfall drinkwell. If Instinct and Intuition are willing, I could consider asking if they would pop in to check in on them. If not, they will be okay for four days with all the food and water. Will be the first time being away from them.

AAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHH! I have just spent 2 hours on the United websites (US and UK) trying to get a decent itinerary and something has gone wrong every time!!!! I know what I want. I can book it on the US site, but they don't allow me to book it because I don't live in the States. Then they don't provide the same options on the UK site. How weird is that? I think I might actually have to call them! (Gasp! Talk to a real person?)

Rubia, I had that problem trying to get a ticket to the US from Denmark for my brother. He couldn't see on line what I saw, so I was going to input it all for him, but the list of countries from which the credit card could be, had like 10 countries on it or something - no Denmark, of coure. It was a pain. He had to wire the money to my account, so I could pay for the trip on my US credit card. Grrr! Many of those sites are aweful to navigate!

YAY - I was finally able to book what I wanted online by specifying each leg individually. I arrive on Thursday evening, April 3, and then leave on Sunday evening. So I would need the room for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Whho hoo! Can't wait!

My Sister is the music director of Crosspoint Church at 738 8th St. in Clermont. She would like to extend an invitation to all to come..It's not far from the Westgate Resort and she would love to give a "Shout Out" to visiting TDKers, and will also take requests (in advance)..they have both a traditional and contemporary service..she is the music director for both..
