I traded messages with her niece Mandy. Here is Mandy’s response.
“Sorry, I’ve just been too busy to respond. She’s moved to a acute care hospital in Billings, which is good. Don’t ask me the name or the address. Its a new facilitiy. She’ll be there for another few weeks, then if she’s well enough she will move to a rehab clinic. Well enough, means she will be able to do 3 hours of sustained physical therapy. Right now, she can barely get out of bed and get dressed, but she’s getting better. They are somewhat optimistic. Ideal situation – she goes through the therapy hospital and they get her stronger … and by summer we have her moved into an assisted living facility in Dickinson, ND. Its going to be a long time before she back on TDK. Right now she can’t even focus her eyes enough to read her Nook.”
I asked Mandy to let her know that we are all still praying for her and love her to bits. Hopefully Mandy will get the address to me so we can get the cards going again.
