   What a great story. The cat definitely knew where to find a good place.

   Moonshadow, I'm not sure if it's pheromones or if cats have some kind of signaling system. A cat who's gotten good vibes from somebody immediately marks their home as "sucker lives here."

   Hobos used to do the same, and the sign for a house with a kindly woman was a cat.
