   A biker in Los Angeles was cruising along and noticed a dead cat lying alongside the road. When he glanced behind him, though, he saw the cat move. He screeched to a stop. Like all good bikers, the man had his trusty can of cat food with him. (Alright, all joking aside, that’s really not a very common biker accessory. Good for him!) Using the cat food to win over Lucky’s trust, the biker lured him into his backpack. Then it was off to the nearest vet.

   Boy, that IS one lucky cat! Well, lucky that he got rescued, not lucky that he has feline lukemia. Poor baby! Well, he'll be cared for very well now.
   I never thought about carrying a can of cat food in the car, but I will from now on. Never know when you'll need a snack (for a stray cat, I mean!)

   Thanks for sharing that story, I normally carry both cat/dog food in my car. Tend to have the habit of feeding the feral cats @ the Circle K that I stop at nightly on the way to work. And I feed a stray heeler at my former work compound.
