2 Popoki has pictures of Chloe, Mili and Annecetera. I have posted them on my blog so that everyone can see these two beautuful kits and the two beautiful women involved in their furry little lives.

Catchoo, I think if you make the kitty shelves you'll be thrilled with the results! Doesn't take up any floor space, and if well-positioned near windows, could keep the kitties well entertained!

anncetera...I was thinking more in the line of the older cats having somewhere to escape from the clutches of the hell-kitty on paws, Spider. He has tunnel vision for tormenting the older ones. And the more they run to get away,the more vigilant he is to going after them. He doesn't listen to reason,or discipline,OR the squirt bottle. Thank goodness his brother Thumper isn't like that. Thumper loves to lay on his back in my arms,gently tapping my face with his paws. They are soooo different. LOL

Spider might respond to a squirt bottle that has a tablespoon of vinegar added to the water (most cats hate vinegar). The other possibility is that he's now chasing the older cats because he gets attention (albeit negative) when he chases them. Distraction, when you catch him doing this, might be the best technique to try with him. How about a tissue box full of sheets of paper, crumpled up into tight little balls to throw toward him?

Catchoo- I have the same problem..Blackbeard harrasses BooBoo and I don't have room for a big cat tree..they just have a small one (it looks like a tree) but not a safe zone for poor BooBoo..she spends alot more time outdoors, cause thats one place Blackbeard is not allowed..

Poor BooBoo...Spider has ten times the pent up energy as Thumper. Thumper likes to be carried around. Spider does NOT want to be held anymore. It seems if I try to distract him with one-on-one play,he just gets more rambunkious(sp?). Then back into the bedroom he goes. He does get more easily bored than the others. I won't let him back outdoors tho. He's healthy & I want to keep him that way in case some miracle from Heaven happens my direction & he finds a furrever home.
sounds like Spider and Blackbeard are related..and since I don't let Blackbeard outside, he just bounces off the walls..then onto BooBoo then to his food dish, climbs anyone standing still..back to bouncing off walls..I can't believe the energy one little kitty can have..
See, 2P?!? Aren't you glad Mili's not a little kitten anymore? I'm not sure what your place would look like after having a high-energy kitten racing around!

Thanks for the pics Kat...Chloe and Mili are both beautys. How wonderful of Anncetera to do this for Mili. She is truly a very special lady and 2Pop as well for opening her home to this young lady. It may take some time, but Chloe and Mili will one day be fast friends...I think they just have to get past the establishing of Alpha Female.
Catchoo..you know my Tuffy..we've resorted to calling him 'Gumby Kitty' is the funniest cat I've ever had. When picking him up he's sooooooo relaxed that he'll just hang like a wet noodle. When he's in your lap he'll let you roll him, position him, you can play with his toes, or nose all the while he just stares into your eyes lovingly as though there's nothing better in life. He hurry's nowhere except for the food dish. Early on..he was more feisty..I guess he had to establish the Alpha male position in the litter..Now, being the biggest, the Alpha, he's slow moving and confident as he** with everyone and everything. Real funny..kind of a Garfield gone Sweet sorta guy. Oreo displays the exact same thing on the Female Alpha personality..The Princess Tiara is hers in this litter.
Hi KYKAT, I liked the pictures that you posted of Mili, Chloe, 2Popoki and Anncetera. I also liked your Laws of Physics as applied to cats, that was a hoot. I have experienced a few of them! The kitties are so pretty.

MCW, the driving was shared among myself, Beth, and Caitlin, so it's not quite as bad as it sounds. On the way home, however, we were all much more tired from our vacation. We decided that stopping at a motel in Albuquerque, New Mexico made a lot more sense than continuing to push onward when we were all so tired.

Update - hmmm... they still are not staying in the same room together. As soon as Chloe appears, or can be heard, Mili hides either behind the love set (under the slip cover) or on the top of the fridge.
This morning was closer... Mili on the castle, Chloe by the closet. A quick hiss from Mili was answered by the same from Chloe. I told them both "no"... and when Mili settled, she mewed so I went to pet her.. in front of Chloe. Chloe just looked at me with her head cocked. Then turned and went up stairs.
At lunch, Mili started to come out from behind the love seat, but Chloe appeared and she disappeared. Chloe went back there and I heard a nanosecond of scuffle and that was it.
Mili is warming up nicely to me. Just not to Chloe or Chloe to her. I left them both out when I came back to work from lunch. I'll see what happened when I get home. I blocked (sort of) the access to the top of the fridge. I guess I'd like them to 'battle it out' and be done. Then again, it has only been one week.
