  1. These look like ingenious solutions to the problem of having no good space for a good-sized cat tree. There are several videos of them in use, and numerous letters and photos from satisfied customers. Careful placement near/to windows or other outside views might be a godsend for some smaller living spaces.

  2. Hmmmm, just want to say that there's always room for a kitty castle - even if you have to throw out your dresser! I'm in a studio apt. and I have two! One of them is now in the walk in closet, but the boys use it about as much as the other one!!!

But, Anncetera is right, these katwalks are neat. Once I manage to move - hopefully before too long - I'm going to look into that for the boys!

  6. On tv once I saw this idea carried dramatically throughout a couples' home where the wall steps led up and into falsewall cubicles and/or boxed walk throughs. It was done quite artfully with beautiful colored paints and one opening into an area was even shaped like a kitty's head rather than the stereo typical square or circle. They were obviously Kitty Krazy folks which is why I loved it so.

  9. Anncetera, thank you for posting this - purrfect for me. I have been trying to come up with ideas for the cats to get exercise and the heights they love. I can just see this in their room and around my great room. I am so excited.

  10. That picture of the cat house is amazing! They are definitely dedicated cat lovers. I bet they had a lot of fun designing the place. I would love to see more of it when they have updated their website.

  11. LV, go look at the customer photos; there's at least one Maine Coonish-looking kitty that's pretty large, shown on the shelf. (Owner indicates it works fine for the big cat.)

  12. LV, yes, that is also a book. I gave my mom that book for her birthday a few years back. I think this is a great idea.

  13. A Great Cat House...I wonder how many still jump on the tables & counters when they aren't at home? lol. I would soooo love to have that kind of house, except,my rescuing & fostering would have to be a conscious decision & not by accident. There's always the concern of funds? It looks like they literally hollowed out walls as well to make cubby holes for them.

  14. Believe it was last month's or the month before, Cat Fancy had kat walk pictures thru different houses. They have always intrigued me with their designs, would love to have some that went thru a house out into a cattery built onto a covered patio.
