  5. I think she said she's moving on the 1st--where are you HM?

  6. There was a bacon festival? That may explain it - HM has gone into a bacon-induced coma!

  7. Here I am. It's yet another numbers crunching day at work and since I was off yesterday it's been a BEAR!!!! I was going to go to the cafe this morning and I had barely gotten to my desk when there was some fire in another department I had to put out (no no, a work fire - no more pyro tendencies for me). Every since then it's go go go.

I went to my new place on Saturday just to have a look at it - I just love it. I'm sore as all get out from packing over the weekend. The leasing office was nice enough to give me my keys even though I'm not official until the 1st, so I have the man friend taking stuff over there today since he's not doing anything else. I think my kittens will love their room, even though they will have to share it with mama's computer.

    How is every one?

  8. HM!!!

    {{Big Hug!!!}}

    I was worried about you!

  9. Awwwwww, Terri - you're so sweet. I've missed being on here today - how DARE they ask me to work after a holiday!!!! ((hugs))

  10. Yay, HM is back!

Bet you can't wait to be all moved in HM! The kitties are going to love the new place. I'm still looking around for somethin, myself. I've completely outgrown my place.
Did you see Bobsky and Milo's new picture? It's the last one on Milo's Catster page. He'd just had a bath and ran straight for his big bro to tell on his Mama. Bobby was very understanding and helped dry him off, while Mi was purring up a storm.

  11. Hmmmmmm, what do you mean "no MORE pyro tendencies" HM?

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  12. I was just thinking, in 2 weeks I'll be in my new place.

Bobby is such a sweet big brother. He loves Milo and will always protect his little sibling. They are so sweet together and Milo knows Bob will protect him, too. Maybe he'll teach Bob to purr.

Yes, no MORE pyro tendencies. I've moved on to.....other stuff. :)

  13. You're too cool, HM!

Actually The Bobster purred this morning. He was close to his blankie, so I thought he was going to suck on it, but he didn't. I wasn't quite sure he was purring, either, but I got real close to him, and sure enough, he was purring! Yay!

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  14. See? Purring today - saying 'mama' tomorrow!!

Posted 3 years ago by HuddysMama #

  15. Oooooh, ya think? I'm going to be looking forward to that!

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  16. Hey, HM, Bobsky wants to know if you got the catnip candy stick in the mail for Huddy yet?
I just took out Bob's and Milo stole it! I had some new ones, so I gave Bosbsky one of those. Both boys were rolling around on the floor with a stick each! I didn't think kittens that young were affected by nip? That's some strong stuff!

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  17. I got it, and it drives him absolutely nuts, while amusing his mama to no end. Huddy has ALWAYS liked catnip - even when he was a just a wee Huddling.

Posted 3 years ago by HuddysMama #

  18. Awwwww, a Huddling! I'm glad he likes it. I've gotten toys with nip in them before that Bob doesn't care about, but this one barely made it out of the bag! Even Milo was going nuts. It was funny, they were next to eachother, both on their backs, Bobby rolling around in oblivion, Milo wrestling it and doing bunny kicks.

  19. What an awesome visual, GD. *laughing loudly in office*

Posted 3 years ago by HuddysMama #

  20. Hi HM and GD. Catnip candy stick? I gotta get out more. **pounces off to surf the stores**

Posted 3 years ago by SammyandOliversmama #

  21. Sorry, SOM, didn't see you there - had to WORK! (yuck!). Here's the catnip candy stick, it's from Cat Claws.

    http://www.catclaws.com/products/candy-stick-catnip-toy.php

Bob (and Huddy!) absolutely goes nuts over this one. I keep it in a bag and take it out for him every now and then. He comes running as soon as I open the bag. It smells real strong - sort of like tea.

Cat Claws take a few weeks to deliver, at least to me, but it's worth the wait. I'm glad I talked HM into getting one for the former Hudling, now how about you go get a couple for Sammy and Oliver? They'll love you - and me - for it!

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  22. I'll probably get a couple extra to keep on hand. I can see him chewing this one to bits. Much like he did the catnip mouse he used to have.

Posted 3 years ago by HuddysMama #

  23. Yep, HM, good idea! Once I saw how much Bobsky loved his candy stick, I ordered more, too.

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  24. Sometimes he almost seems ANGRY at it, but I know it's just the 'nip.

Posted 3 years ago by HuddysMama #

  25. Ha, Huddy! Actually, Mi seemes angry, too, now that you mention it. Bob was just in la-la land!

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  26. well I feel better now...2 of mine are mean "drunks" also...like they need to kill the catnip toy! GD, "bunny kicks"...love the description :)

Posted 3 years ago by linda #

  27. Lol @ Linda "mean drunk" kitties. Maverick doesn't mess with the nip, but Sebastian was an absolute FIEND. If I gave out catnip, I'd have to separate him and Huddy because he would take Huddy's away and not share his own with Huddy.

Which reminds me, I actually heard Huddy hiss and growl for the first time on Saturday. He HATES my niece. Nobody knows why. Just the sight of her sends him into a tizzy.

  28. Ya'll have me laughing at the kitty-nip stories! My sweet, lovable baby-girl, Bailey, becomes VICIOUS when catnip is involved! I bought some Cosmic Catnip a few weekends ago and she did 2 complete somersaults between my feet and the edge of the cabinet just because I was filling the little mouse thing with it and a little fell on the floor. She then proceeded to hiss, growl, and then bite poor Bosley!

Bailey has been so traumatized by the changes due to my flooded apt. that she's an absolute pest! She's meowing constantly--almost like she's in heat and I know that she's not! :)

Posted 3 years ago by FondaHonda #

  29. Ha - he hiss and growled at her? Maybe he's mad she didn't keep him? Of course he ended up in the best place, so he shouldn't be mad.

I was hearing this weird sound the other day. Turned out to be Milo! He had a little puff ball he was playing with (by himself, Bobby couldn't care less) and he kept doing this little growl whenever he had it in his mouth. I was looking all over - I thought maybe it was the fan making a noise, the DVD player, something like that. Nope - Milo was doing his best to scare the puffball!

Posted 3 years ago by GreatDane #

  30. Do any of your kitties drool a lot when they have catnip? I fill up the little mouse and it's soaked (Bailey only) within SECONDS!!! Then, it gets too wet for her so she goes and steals Bosley's mouse and gets it soaked! :)
