  1. FH your apartment flooded?? Oh no!! Did a lot of your stuff get ruined? I'm so sorry. That's horrible. What happened exactly?

Poor Bailey and poor FH. How could anybody want to bite Bosley?

GD, the man friend said Huddy doesn't like her because she abandoned him. Some abandonment, eh?

  2. HM--the idiot upstair's toilet ran all night. At 4:30 Monday morning, I awoke to Niagara Falls pouring into my hallway through the filter grate in the hallway ceiling. I used my little Bissel carpet cleaner and sucked up water for over 4 hrs.--until the carpet person came. I was able to save the living room, bedroom, and closets, so it could've been really bad. The bathroom and hallway are totally ruined. I had the kitty box in the bathroom and it's now disgusting--imagine floating kitty box and all of the wonderful debris! The carpet guy sucked up the water, pulled out the padding and then left the carpet in the apt. to dry. By last night, it stank so bad that I hauled it to the dumpster. The kitties are petrified of the large fan in the hallway, so all the pets and I closed ourselves into the bedroom last night.

  3. OMG FH! You can't stay in that apartment - make them move you! That's not healthy at all. Poor FH and kitties. I can only imagine the mess and the smell. ((hugs)) I hope they make everything better for you soon - that's a shame. Did the 'idiot' even apologize to you for ruining your bathroom and hallway?

  4. Eeeeew, to floating kitty litter!
You really should get out of there - what about mold? I worked in a tennis center a few years ago, and our office was in a trailer. I was real old and eventually, every time it rained, it would rain in the bottom of the door, all the windows and parts of the cailing. It got so smelly and moldy in there! I ended up getting really sick whenever I was at work. It ot so bad, I'd take the phone outside with me, and only walk inside when customers came in. After taking their money or signing them up for things, I'd go back outside. He mold gave me such a headache and made me really nauseous.

HM, I agree with Man Friend. Huddy is such a special kitty, he can't figure out why anyone would give him away!

  5. All I know is that I'm grateful for having horrible allergies right now--it doesn't smell too badly now that the bathroom carpet is gone. I'm sure anyone else would be nauseous, but I hardly smell it due to stuffed up nose! Who would've thunk it? I'm actually glad I have allergies! ;)

  6. OMG too, FH!!! Is the landlord going to do something for you for "pain and suffering"? They should put you up in a hotel till it's thoroughly cleaned and dried! Motel 6 accepts cats ;)
And yes, Spot gets totally drooly when the new scratching post refills come from Cat Claws...they're covered in fresh catnip and she rolls around on top (b4 they're put in place) then falls asleep! Kinda wet by then ;)
