   At 9:00 am eastern time, a whole bunch of us got permanently cut off from internet access at work, including me.

   the excuse given was the amt of bandwidth used, and NYSDOT, my employer, wanted to cut down on the amt of bandwidth.

   so, I guess i will be on at home about 4:30pm eastern time if i have no outside chores to do, and of course i will be in the nightshift cafe on a regular basis.

   it's been a pleasure to get to know you all. terrie - i know you will a great manager and chef for the cafe...my hugs to all the kitties !!!

   Cheri, oh my goodness that is what we have been told at work too, so far its only been live feed from the radio, africam, and such but the excuse is the bandwidth being used and the distraction to us! Now we hae 52" lcd tvs that are muted because they may distract us, but that play the PLAYBOY and PAJAMAGRAM commercials at least 5 times every hour but what the heck, they aren't using up the bandwidth. Sorry had to vent there a bit.
