2P, Mili is quite the destructive kitty, it seems!
I thought of leaving Milo with the run of the place this morning, since I brought The Bobster to the office with me to go to the vet later. Then I tought of all the trouble he could get into alone there and the fact that I'd really need to do a thorough kitten-proofing of the place before that happens.
Quite a week here - Bobsky goes to the v-e-t today and Mi's got an appointment Thursday for a booster shot! They ought to give me a discount!
Well rn4..it is a race each morning..best chance is to bring up the main page and keep hitting your refresh button until the new kitten arives, and then the race is on to hit the add comment button and post a POUNCE before someone else does...I think it's at 9:07 am your time..
I can't drink any more coffee, I have already had too much, at the interview. Will someone please hand me a large brandy? I'm so nervous I could climb a wall. I'm waiting now for the call to say whether or not I got the job.

good morning everyone. I hope it was a great weekend for all. just got back from Target-went there for 3 things, ended up with a cart full ;( Always like that.
Can I just have a huge mug of Chai tea please? We are getting 3-6 inches of snow tomorrow, so I better stock up on my hot tea :)

Oh, dear, 2P!! Mili's going and breaking all your house rules! Maybe it's time to confine her again, when you're not there? Years ago, I set up my own house plants out of reach of the kitties... due exactly to similar problems. Much like keeping my small breakables in a china cabinet, because if I keep them there they don't get broken.
A friend, Heather, stayed at my house on Friday night. She and I spent a bit of time re-assembling my cat furniture properly. She wanted to rearrange a corner of my living room, but it was so funny when she asked about putting stuff on top of bookcases.
"No, I can't do that."
"Why not? It's all kinds of space..."
"The cats use it."
"Really?"
"See that china cabinet?"
(nods)
"Sweet Pea and Mili, when she was here, would jump on top of the china cabinet, walk across the top of the curtain rod, over to the top of the bookcase, and then down to the sofa."
(stares)
"No, really! They did. And they're the reasons why I don't want to put stuff on top of the bookcase or china cabinet; it's just asking for them to be knocked down!"
My dear departed tabby Mal used to make a game of traveling all the way around the living room, without *ever* touching the floor. I'm afraid that Mili appears to be inclined toward similar sorts of games. Perhaps she's a throwback to a more arboreal ancestor...

But I'm glad to hear that Mili likes the laser pointer! I bet you can use that to get her to climb up and down (and up and down and up and down) the cat furniture. Maybe enough repetition of that will help her understand that the cat furniture is a good place to do that, preferable to climbing plants.

No, no, PM, you're back - just like the rest of us. It's going to be okay...... Hands PM a therapy kitty for comfort.
Cricketsmama, Target is dangerous like that!!! I always happens!!! I've actually tried staying away, or buying stuff elsewhere where it's more expensive, but where I don't end up buying the whole store! (So far it's not working very well - it IS right smack in my way between home and work!)

Hey I'm back too..I missed so much not being able to be in the cafe for so long...HI Everyone...
GD..I know just what you mean about KittenMaster still hasn't put Blackbeard on main site yet either..I think it has more to do with my camera skills though..Did I tell you my little boy (just turned 4 months on the 20th) is 6.7 lbs.
Now I'm missing
