Good morning! I am sitting here at Marina´s computer. She showed me around the little town here, it is so cute, and I can walk to get tapas or catch the bus to Madrid. Pipa keeps meowing at me since Marina left...I thought she was bothered by my presence, but then she jumped in my lap and purred, while doing the kneeding thing. Just like home, sitting at a computer with a kitty on my lap, logging onto the Daily Kitten. :-)

I was wondering yesterday if you guys were able to pull off your trip. I'm so glad you did. Storms just swept through Georgia and driving to work was a nightmare. We couldn't even see the roads much less the lines on the road. Soak up some sunshine and love on Pipa and send regards to Marina from Georgia.

Oops, sorry folks...the tiredness suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks. I was unpacking some of my things with the assistance of the very curious Pipa, who gave close inspection to my suitcase and everything in it...I came to the bags of cat treats, when I shook the bag Melon came running also. After they had their treats, I thought, I´ll just lie down here for a few minutes...the three of us have just had a lovely 4 hour nap.

Hi Rubia, I arrived at about 9:30 am. There was some delay in getting the tunnel thingie from the gate out to the plane, and we all stood there in the aisle for about 15 more minutes. One funny story--while I was standing at the baggage claim area looking hopefully for my bags, a woman came up to me doing a survey on what people think of the airport. She did not speak English. I tried to explain that I had just gotten there and had seen nothing of the airport but the chute and the hallway to baggage, but she interviewed me anyway.

PM, how funny this is that I am talking to you on TDK as always, but from YOUR HOUSE...it´s like that horror movie where the person says, THE CALLS ARE COMING FROM WITHIN THE HOUSE!
I admit that I did get water on the bathroom floor, but took care of it with a towel! Glad you told me, I thought I had idiotically left the shower door ajar.

Pipa and Melon have very different personalities. Pipa is very gregarious and has followed me around and kept me company. Melon is a little more cautious. I was saying her name and she wasn´t looking at me, then I remembered that Marina did not say Melon she said Mel-LAWN, and when I said it that way she whipped her head around and looked at me, astonished, She was thinking--This woman knows my name!
