Just a quick update everyone!
Well, the closing went well. We crossed all the "T's" and dotted all the "I's" like someone suggested yesterday, just don't look at the bottom line! LOL
We moved some of our stuff from Mom and Dad's last night and spent the first night in our new home! Yea!!
Bogman did some serious splunking (exploring for those who don't speak Bogmanese) by opening all the cabinet doors. Silly grey face!
Tiger has been traumatised by the whole moving thing. He is staying in his cat house until he feels secure. Poor little striped face. We put him in his own room last night and he cried for about 2 hours until we moved him into our bedroom and then, when he was near us, he went right to sleep. What a sweetie!
We went out to dinner to celebrate the closing and my birthday and then moved what we needed for the night and today from Mom and Dad's and then spent our first night at home! Yea!
I was sick with a cold and so my wonderful hubby made hot tea and put me in my jammies with a warm comforter and a grey fur baby to keep me warm.
The cable guy, the phone guy, and the furniture guy are all going to be at the new house today.
and yes, MM, I will be following your suggestion and bring a present in a square box and a six pack of beer!
