As many of you know, my cat Cato is running for President. He blogs as well AND one night when I was looking for a 'good' idea for his next blog, I was on Dr. Phil's web site and I happened to send in this response to a query for the most spoiled and entitled child in the country.
"My son wants me to foot the bill for his presidential bid in 2008. This is costing me millions of dollars to educate him, give him public speaking lessons, buy a closet full of suits, and set him up with eligible first ladies. He has managed to graduate from the Hass School of Business with an MBA, but he won't go to work. He says he has to get ready for the push to win the highest office in the land. He spends his days on Facebook networking and hosting 'fake' parties for his campaign. He also has his own blog and now he is making videos. If he has so much talent, why isn't he making money? I am a laughing stock in my small town. This obsession of his has caused difficulties with my friends and family. I am a single mother and my family thinks I have lost my mind. Sincerely, "

I received a response today:

If you can email me back ASAP with the following questions answered that would be great. Please don't hesitate to go into detail. Also, the pictures are very important, so please send some ASAP.
1. Email me RECENT photos of you and anyone else involved in your story. (Please explain who each person is)
2. Email me 5 reasons why you want Dr. Phil's help, including specific examples of the issue at hand.
3. Email me your question(s) for Dr. Phil.
4. Are you and the other parties willing to appear on the show?
Thank you very much, I look forward to hearing from you!"
I, of course, responded to her questions and photos. Perhaps if you all send along an email about how much you would like to see Cato's problems addressed on Dr. Phil's Show they might invite us to appear, thus furthering his campaign.
