Airy (MS's daughter and my niece)is handing in her thesis tomorrow. She is doing a Masters in Computer Science and her thesis is on "Redesiging software for senior users".
She is really busy today making final revisions to it and feeling a little overwhelmed.
Let's send positive energy to her to get it all finished in time.

She has been working all the hours of the day and night for some time now getting everything done and it's that last day before the printers when she needs lots of positive energy. Somehow she managed to fit in a Taiko concert and workshop this weekend. Beating the drums can be great therapy though.

Hi all. thanks soo much for the positive energy. The thesis is progressing, you always find sections you can do better on and such so there's a massive pile of notes on my desk. My supervisor keeps finding new things for me to add :(

Karenopa, I am very proud of Airy, she has put her head down and b*m up and worked very hard to do her research and thesis in one year.She has managed to keep her sense of humour too which is very important.
Airy, I told Shadz about the shift in room ownership and she said you can share her room, it's hers because she yakked on the carpet the other day and she reckons you haven't claimed ownership in that way, so there! (gotta love the cattitude)

Best wishes Airy! (sorry, that sounded a little weddingish!...you know what I mean...) It is a super subject. My Dad has become quite good on the computer, but my mom is, well, not. And since you're bigger than Shadow, I don't think you necessarily need to "yak" to claim the room...unless the celebration after finishing your thesis is really good!
lol, love the ownership rituals of the room...and personally, I do think the 'yak' would win hands down..it would be better if a 'human' had stepped in it because then it would have upped the 'yakness'! Ewwww I hate doing that, and mine donate their design qualities to my rooms when they feel the urge.

Thanks everyone! The thesis is now complete, as is JimBoy's. He sat here patiently while I broke down cause I had lost some data, then he confidently moved me aside and found the missing data for me :)
The thesis was due today but due to printing problems will get printed and handed in first thing in the morning. But ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
