  1. I just got back from my stepson's funeral not long ago. I also just posted a new blog:

  2. Vicki, this has been a hard day for all of you. I agree with you that feelings for others should never go unsaid. We may only have one chance to say what we want to say or what we should say. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad and tragic time.

Vicki..{{{Hugs}}} I'm so sorry for your families loss..He is no longer in pain and you not only had learned that we must tell our loves ones what they mean to us, but you've also made sure that others be mindfull of this as well..Thank you Vicki..I think I have a few calls to make now..Bless You!

  10. It's strange; he feels gone now. Between the time he died and the funeral, he didn't feel gone; I almost expected him to call on the phone and ask his dad for gas money.

  11. I know that feeling, Vicki. I lost my first husband in 1975. He was killed in a car accident. He was only 25. It was such a shock. There were times when I thought I'd caught a glimpse of him walking down the street. It does take time for a loss like that to become real. {{hugs}}
