   Hi everyone,

   I leave for FL in the morning to face a major battle with the ex. I am still getting all the legal papers in place and trying to pack. Just got the kids to bed finally, and the husband is out cold on the couch. He is sick. Guess he will just have to manage without Super-Mom/Super-Wife for a couple days. Feels bad for the kids and the cats.

   I am a total panic and need all the positive thoughts and energy you guys can send my way. Pretty please.

   When I get back I will fill you all in since I will be without my computer until then. Thanks so much everyone. Your the best-est family in the world.

   Julie, I will certainly keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I believe you said the court date was Wed. (Mar 5?) I hope you will have a wise judge who will help set your mind at ease. Just remember that you are a very good Mom who has been there for your kids all this time when your ex was not. Keep taking deap breaths and know that we all care about you.

    Was able to sneak onto my sister's computer. :) Thanks so much for the support! Driving to Gainesville in a couple hours for the festivities. Trying to keep a sense of humor and a happy heart right now. My sisters dogs(Basenjis) are keeping me company. Real quiet since they are barkless dogs. :)

    On the flight down yesterday I started the book The Blessings of Brokeness that Catwoman gave me again. It made me stop and think about how little true contol I do have over this. God has put this in my path to change me and make me stronger. It hurts and is driving me nutty, but there is a reason for it. I just need to stop fighting and follow what is being set in motion. That is so not an easy thing to do. But I am doing the best I can, and will place myself in God's hands.

    I know today is not going to be easy, and truly hard not to sink to the ex's level of pettiness. So many years of ill will don't disappear so quickly. Just gonna try and stay upbeat and focused on the things that need to be done. Please keep me in your thoughts.

    Julie, I know exactly what you mean--I am somewhat of a control freak myself and I have always had a hard time giving up my burdens to God. But when I do, I find that He is MUCH better at carrying them than I am. I have been praying for you and will continue to do so. I am sure that things will turn out the way they should.
