Thanks for all the warm welcomes!
I'll eventually figure out how to scan pics and post them. I'm a newbie at that part of computer technology. So for now I'll just tell you about my kitties.
Tigger is the old man of the crowd; he's at least 17 but the vet thinks he's closer to 20. He's known as Tigger the Terrible because he's terribly Tigger! A petite kitty, he is a gray tiger tabby with black stripes, including a royal stripe of office across his chest, and a tail tip obviously dipped in the ink pot! He has arthritis and chronic renal failure but still keeps on going like an energizer kitty.
Frisky and Alice are brother and sister littermates who acquired us at 10 weeks old and are now six and a half. The Ferocious Feisty Risky Frisky the Fang is the alpha male of the crowd, loves to literally bounce off walls, talks in a sweet boy soprano voice, has full possession of the home office (on top of the printer is a favorite locale) and is generally a sweet boy. He is white with black markings and tail. Think a saddle oxford color pattern.
His sister Alice the Outlaw Imp is black with white markings. Think a nun's habit in appearance but don't let the nun's habit fool you, she only looks innocent! She is a total high energy precious brat with an adorable snuggle purr.
Mandi is a seven year old rescue kitty who adopted me and brought me home when she was three. She had been turned back in by two previous families, supposedly due to allergies. But after I had her a short time it became clear she has inflammatory bowel disease and I think that's the real reason folks didn't keep her. All she needed was lots of love, patience, and a willingness to work at finding the right mix of food and meds to keep her comfortable and healthy. She is a Handy Mandi, always handy for love, and Mandi the Moocher because she is such a sweet love moocher. Her coloring is something of both tiger tabby and tortoise, with more tan and even a touch of red in her markings than Tigger. She and he are my tabby twosome.
So, that's my babies.
