TDK friends,
This has been a very stressful time since November when my mom was hospitalized. Thankfully, she did recover, but I have had to take over all her financial dealings-pay bills, deal with insurance, etc. With my own disabilities, this has been hard, but--she's my Mom, so of course I will do it happily. But today my dear husband is in the ER. He began coughing blood, is short of breath, has severe chills, etc. He is the love of my life, and I am so worried. He also has some disabilities--epilepsy, congestive heart failure, arthritis and diabetes. Yet he continues to work full time so we can maintain our insurance coverage that is so necessary for us both.
We always take care of each other and our life is so rich and full in spite of health problems.
Please send your white light and prayers to my love-I simply don't know what I'd do without him, and the accumulating stress is taking its toll on me as well. My pain level has been through the roof today. Sweet Redford and Mitzi have been purring and cuddling like crazy-they always know when something is wrong and try so hard to make me feel better. Cats are sooo amazing!
Anyway, if you have time today, please send some prayers our way-they will be so appreciated.

Oh Ginger, I'm so sorry to hear about everything but especially your husband. I know exactly how you feel when you and your mate survive one ordeal after another and the bond becomes indestructable. Prayers and white light to you and your husband. Please keep us posted.

I so admire your courage and most of all your appreciation and joy for the life and love you have in spite of your ailments and set backs. QUICK UPDATE: First, thank you all so much for your prayers and encouraging words--you all are such a blessing in my life. Victor was admitted to the hospital yesterday and is being treated for both pneumonia and the worsening of his congestive heart failure that the pneumonia has exacerbated. When he went in, his oxygen level was only 70%. By last night it was up to 85%, so we know the antibiotics and nebulizer treatments are working. Hopefully things will continue to improve today. This is a virulent type of pneumonia--4 people in Oregon have died from it already, so it is really important that we caught and treated it so quickly. And I know that your prayers have helped a lot as well. Will keep you posted as things progress, and thank you all again-TDK is the BEST!

Ginger - I just saw this thread. That is great news that they have figured out what is wrong with your hubby and that treatment is going well. I'm sorry that I'm so sporadic with my posts! Work is so that I don't get to check every day and have to play catch-up! I just today saw this thread, and I'm glad things are looking up for your hubby. Illness is rampant right now, and I will be thinking of your family and all you're going through. May he continue to feel better! My boys send head bonks and snuggles for a speedy recovery!

update! My honey is HOME! He responded so well to the antibiotics that the docs said he could finish recovery at home! The CT scan did show pneumonia in the lower right lung,but it seems to be resolving. The only worrisome part is there is also a nodule there, but the odds are good that it is benign. We will find that out next week. Thanks so much for your prayers--they truly helped.Hugs and love, ginger
