Hi all. Sorry you cannot find your pareo, CW. Hopefully it will turn up. Your sore throat on one side sounds like tonsilitis to me. You might try the aspirin gargle that was suggested on the night shift. My Dad use to recommend that to me when I had a sore throat. I would go to the doctor if it is still painful to swallow.
I am still dragging. I went to bed late last night (11pm - normally in bed by 9:30pm). I could use a nice mocha with whip cream, some eggs over easy with extra crispy bacon, whole wheat toast with real butter, and a glass of guava juice. It is 10 am and I am wishing it was 5pm so I could go home and rest. I will try going to bed early tonight but with the time change that may not happen.
Working on finalizing the details with the adoption agency and Susie. Hope to have the plans all in place today. I rented the van. I found out it is going to cost $143 for the van and then gas will probably cost around $125 or more depending on how many miles we put on the van. The van has a tank of 35 gallons multiplied by 18 miles to the gallon is 630 miles. That should be plenty as I think the whole round trip should be around 275 miles max. Busy day on Saturday.

Miu...Could I ask is there a chance you could send some pictures from Finland? My hubby and I love Europe and would love to see actual pictures from there, not just stock photos you see in a travel book. If you don't mind.

Where is the adoption agency, Karin? Please tell us how you were able to find homes for four of Susie's cats through this agency. You have made such a difference for them and for her! I'd be happy to throw in some gas money for you and Susie. Send me an e-mail: cdcarlson at excite dot com

KW, I am going to email you from my gmail account as yahoo keeps saying the email can't go through to your email address.
Also, the agency says they may be able to take 10 cats of Susie's but we are still working out the details. The person I am in contact is in class at the moment but hopefully will contact me this afternoon.

Ooh - burger and fries sounds so good! Could I please have a garden burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and red onion, along with fries AND onion rings! Great thing about virtual onions - no onion breath!
That would be fantastic if that agency can take as many as 10 of Susie's cats! That will make such a wonderful difference for her.
