Yes, KW, thank god, the girl is heading home tomorrow. Kay took her to friends and they are leaving over the weekend.

I hope the visit wasn't too stressful. You and Kay have gone through a major life change with Kay being laid off let alone dealing with her daughter's troubles. I know you were both there for her. That's what families do.

Bobbi, did I tell you that Karin is renting a van and going to get at least four and hopefully ten of Susie's cats to take to a no-kill shelter this Saturday?? Isn't that fantastic?!

Susie isn't posting much, but she did post as soon as she found out the Karin had a lead on a no-kill shelter ready to take multiple cats and was very excited. She could hardly contain herself. She is still hoping to catch the Siamese before it gives birth--due on March 25. She is trying to borrow a trap that has a high success rate, but the woman who is lending it to her lent it to someone else and is trying to get it back. Keep your fingers crossed!

Well, it's supposed to be around 90 degrees tomorrow--and to think that just a week ago we had 4 or so inches of snow! Go figure! And, best of all, Spring break starts at 3:15 tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I may go ahead and get the couch and loveseat that I want. . .I was going to wait until my dog is no longer around, but I've been keeping him in the bedroom during the day and he seems ok with it. I'm also looking for an oak armoire and a new bedroom comfortor. Oh, and I need a new wicker chair! :)

Bad week, Kay getting laid off, Daughter came in with her issues. Never got this week under control with the change of plan. Me, for work, people there play really heavy duty head games. Girl just quit cause she couldn't do it anymore. I don't want to either, but have to play the game. I know they would like to get rid of me for attitude, yes, I have one, just don't understand, how you hurt one and expect anyone else to deal with that. We all need jobs and I make good money and have to continue to make that money with the layoff. But how much can my stomach and heart take before I say, Kiss my butt. I have a situation that Kay is very well aware of how they are. She worked there part time for a while. I can't walk, Kay needs me now, but I have cried for the last hour trying to justify why I am still there. Boss b-day today, make hamburgers and hot dogs on George forman grill. Ok, not the best, but tried. We ate, all said was ok. Gotta believe them. Bought pastries, knowing boss couldn't eat them. But she jumped my sh-, you know I don't eat sugar. So forgive me for making an effort that even though you don't others of us do, and it was a gift of the thought. She said we have a glutten free cake at home, so someone in the office said, cut a piece, and think of us. She doesn't have a gluten problem the son who works there does. I am at my wits end right now. Sorry for the long post. thanks for listening.

Sorry to hear about your work situation, Lynn. Is there any way you could start putting out resumes to other companies while you're still working for this place? Seems it couldn't hurt. . .
KW--I've been putting off buying everything because of my dog. I'm beginning to think that he's gonna be the longest living Shih-tzu in history--just to spite me! :)

Wow, Lynn. Even with every thing that has been happening to you, you made the time to call me and check up on me. I am doubly appreciative. You are such a loving, caring and wonderful person. You really could have dumped some of that on me. I would be happy to listen any time.
Your boss has some serious issues, and the more emotionally distant you can keep from her the better for you.
Please call me when you need to vent.FH, sounds like you're going to have a good spring break. How about you Gin, are you doing anything special. And have you any leads on work prospects?
