MCW..You know...a few years ago I really just stopped craving chocolate so much...I couldn't figure out why..still don't know.. Then I started craving Ice Cream which I hadn't craved for years.

Hi Night Shifters...I just demolished a second bowl of blueberry pie ice cream. It felt good on my poor sore throat. My son and I both have strep, but he is much more feisty than I and wants to go outside and play, "just not breathe on anyone"...I want to crawl under the covers and sleep for a few days.

CW, I'm just pigging my way through a punnet of fresh blueberries. Hope your throat improves soon. I got my tonsils out 2 years ago after numerous bouts of tonsilitis (usually on holiday) and I've been good since. But I can well recall the pain of a strep throat. Canned peaches were my lifesaver.

Sorry you're sick cw. Strep can be really miserable. Can't believe your son wants to go play!! He must not have a bad case. I'm glad you had a great time in Spain. Haven't caught up on everything yet, but I know you did.

cricketsmama, a little better. I have had one antibiotic, another this evening, hopefully by tomorrow I will feel better. Also worried because at some point last night Wolfie apparently got out, which I did not realize until this morning...there have been no sightings of him all day. I can't call loudly with my throat in this condition, but have called and son has called. Will go out and shake the treat bag soon, as it will be getting dark soon!

Blueberry Pie Ice Cream! Oh my, does that ever sound yummy! I was salivating enough over the peach pie, and you had to go and mention that! Say, has anyone ever had Juneberry Pie? Also known as Serviceberry or Saskatoon Berry. It is as they say, "to die for"!
