TNB5 is chillin'. He worked all weekend doing the prep work for a major project (which I don't want to mention, because I'm trying to surprise Hubby, who probably doesn't lurk, but with my luck would this one time). We went to get the necessary materials today, only to be told that we can't start this project 'til Thursday. To top that off, Hubby just announced that he gets Friday off (which I didn't know when I made my plans), so that gives me ONE day to do this major project!
Tomorrow is supposed to be dangerously stormy--can't work on the house, and the TV satellite will probably go hinky, and lightning precludes going online. Ducky. :(
-
bummer...why does lightning preclude going online?

EVERYONE'S a comedian, ek, KK?
This joke is a bit long, so I'll do it in parts:
One day, Michael O'Flaherty is a-walkin' down the lane, mindin' 'is own business, when he spies one of the wee folk. Michael is thinkin' to himself, "If I catch that leprechaun, he'll grant me three wishes. But he'll try ever' trick in the book to get me to let 'im go, an I canna allow that." So Michael sneaks up on the wee leprechaun, grabs 'im, and holds on for dear life...
-
"EEEEE, lemme go!" screeches the leprechaun. "No, leprechaun, I'll not be lettin' ye go. Gimme me three wishes!" retorts Michael. This goes on for a while, with the leprechaun tryin' every trick he can think of, and Michael holdin' on for dear life. Finally the leprechaun says, "All right, ye win. I'll give ye yer three wishes. But know this now, what ever I give ye, I'm gonna give twice as much to yer worst enemy, Patrick Cohan down the road!" "All right, leprechaun, it's a deal," answers Michael...

Michael stands up straight, and with the seriousness of a priest at a sacrament, says to the leprechaun, "For me first wish, I want a mansion with 10 bedrooms." POOF! A ten-room mansion appears, and POOF! Down the road, a twenty-bedroom appears out of thin air, with Patrick Cohan on the front porch just a-dancin'!...
-
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Oddly not what I was expecting unless he wishes them away! You giveth and can taketh away!?

Michael watches the scene, then turns again to the wee feller. "And for me second wish, leprechaun, I want 10 of the most beautiful women in all of Ireland!" POOF! Ten women appear on Michael's front porch, and a moment later, POOF! Twenty women on Patrick's porch, with Patrick a-singin' the praises o'Michael...
