   Pipie, hi, welcome to TDK. There's no way of knowing how old some of the pictures Kitten Master posts on TDK actually are, and lil girl may already have a loving home by now. I'll report your post to KM, and he may or may not be able to put you in touch with the originator of that picture - but there are hundreds of other cats & kittens in shelters who desparately need good homes, so please consider going to have a look locally. Let us know how you get on!

   A good place to look for local rescued kittens is on Petfinder.com Many rescue organizations post their charges there. If you are in Colorado (or NM), I could help you.

   Thanks for all your help and forwarding my request.

   I have visited TDK for a couple of years now, and that little picture of Lil' Girl sure resonated with me.

   It did with me too, pippie, and I hope we do find that she was successfully adopted even if your mother won't be able to. Hope that you can find a kitty for your mom, there are lots of needy little ones (and older ones) out there.

   Thanks for all the kind posts!

   Even if she is already taken, I would feel much better knowing that she is being cared for and loved.

   I will definitely check the local shelter for another kitten if she is has been adopted.
