  1. So from the Dutch we get doughnuts and foul language?

Posted 4 years ago by Instinct #

  2. And New York. Anyone see a pattern here????

Posted 4 years ago by gatakitty #

  3. That from the beginning they have been trying to make us fat and rude.

Posted 4 years ago by Instinct #

  4. My favorite New York Minute? In "Miss Congeniality," when Sandra Bullock slams her hands on the hood of the taxi that is encroaching the crosswalk and screams "'Ey! I'm GLIDIN' 'ere!"

Posted 4 years ago by gatakitty #

  5. That is a good movie. I like when she is walking up the spiral staircase and stops to take off all her guns so she can do it right

Posted 4 years ago by Instinct #

  6. I would love to have seen that. I wonder if they intend to ever show it again.
The history of the English language, that is...

  7. I like almost everything Sandra Bullock has done. And Miss Congeniality is way up there....

Posted 4 years ago by artistabobbi TX 1/17 #

  8. Even the second one wasn't bad. Not great, but still watchable

Posted 4 years ago by Instinct #

  9. "...you wanna DATE me; you wanna HUG me; you wanna KISS me..."

And if the "you" is Benjamin Bratt, the problem is...?

Posted 4 years ago by gatakitty #

  10. That the person your dating can kick your butt two falls out of three

Posted 4 years ago by Instinct #

  11. I haven't seen "MCII," but it certainly can't be worse that "Legally Blonde II."

So much promise, so little delivery.

Posted 4 years ago by gatakitty #

  12. No, it is much better than that by about a factor of 100

Posted 4 years ago by Instinct #

  13. That's all? I thought you said it was watchable. ;D

Posted 4 years ago by gatakitty #

  14. I liked it ok. Just wasn't as fresh and fun as the first one.

  15. OK ladies, I think I should get off here and do some more homework type stuff before calling it a night.

GK, if TNB5 comes to his senses a little bit maybe I can talk to him. I think we have a bunch of stuff in common, no pressure though :)

bobbi, have a good evening and maybe I'll be back here tomorrow if I don't have too much to do.

Posted 4 years ago by Instinct #

  16. Night Instinct. Don't work too hard on that homework.
    Y'know.
    All work and no play....

Posted 4 years ago by artistabobbi TX 1/17 #

  17. Thanks, littermates! I must be off as well. It's nearly midnight, and my work day begins an hour earlier than it used to (and DST has nothing to do with it)! :(

    Purrs and headbonks, y'all!

  18. Night Gin, sweet dreams...

  19. It's 01:33 am, seeing that the room is quiet, the hour is late. . . let the closing begin gratis Moonshadow, LV, & Tigger begin....good job everyone & bless you...

check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers
check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Box
check - windows open for the southern hemisphere TDKers ,and shut tight for the northern hemisphere TDKers.

Goodnight to all the imaginary friends in TDK land, g'night Janet, goodnight Jimmy. White energy for all those in need. And let us treat the world gently this day >^..^<

  20. Hi Deb, are you at work tonight? Easter has got me all about face. did you survive the crankies from last night or did they survive. Had a very nail biting day with a dog chasing cats around here and I didn't know where Shadz was but was pretty sure she was safe.

    Posted 4 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  21. Yep, here working, and yes I did survive the crankies....they calmed down after being chastized a couple of times. So the dog is still hanging out chasing cats? Well da*n him, he needs better manners for sure. Glad that Shadz is safe from the four-legged menace. Walking a bit better tonight (good thing), did something to my hip and couldn't walk really well the last couple of nights, sigh.

Posted 4 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  22. You look after that hip. Yes Shadz was safe, found her this afternoon along with another cat sitting on top of our fence, they had most likely been there all day and they were sitting about 2 feet apart. United in fear and hatred for that dog. It took me over an hour to coax her down and inside for a meal and a sleep in the bean bag. She is outside again for a toilet visit. Now she is back inside.

    Posted 4 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  23. Good that she is inside, the dog may still be hanging out skulking about. Been taking muscle relaxers for the hip and my daughter worked on it a bit to get it back into place (helped just a bit, enough to walk on).

Posted 4 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  24. I am hoping the dog is no longer at my neighbours, when I came home this afternoon there was 2 police cars at the house and 4 people and 2 dogs on chains walking away from the house and there aren't any lights on there so far tonight. The people were really rough and the dogs were typical gang, muscle type dogs, I have lovely neighbours, NOT. Shadz is wandering around the house and asking me to let her out but I refuse to be sucked in by those eyes tonight, I will stand strong.
How did you hurt your hip, if that's not an impertinent question.

    Posted 4 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  25. Think I hurt it by trying to put a new bedframe on my bed, its a heavy southwestern pole bed and doing it by myself of course.

Posted 4 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  26. It's just as well your daughter is home for spring break and can help you with things. We normally find our limitations the hard way, ouch. A soak in the hot mineral pool would be wonderful now for you, do you get natural hot pools in your area? We have quite a few to choose from here, living on the pacific 'ring of fire' can have it's advantages. Disadvantages are earthquakes, we had a 3.9 quake this evening, just a wee bump.

    Posted 4 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  27. No natural hot springs in the area here, had them near when I was growing up in California....had the earthquakes too, but then again living on a fault line does that. Dau went back yesterday since she had to teach on Tuesday. But I have been soaking in a warm/hot tub w/epsom salts and that feels a bit better.

Posted 4 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  28. Looks like Shadz has given up for the night and gone to bed, hopefully in Airy's room. I've been up for 18 hours and I think it's definitely time for me to head off to bed, have another 4.30am wake up tomorrow and the next 10 days. :-(
Have a good shift and stamp out any crankiness quickly unless it's you who is cranky.
Goodnight Debra, goodnight Erin and Jimmy.

    Posted 4 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  29. LOL, and its not me being cranky, don't envy the early wake up hours....sleep well and have sweet dreams, g'night.
