Since my Dad ended up in the emergency room on New Years Day he has had many medical tests and doctor visits. He has a tumor in his heart which they are just watching because at his age and physical condition open heart surgery is really risky. He was also suffering really bad side effects from the narcotic pain medication (for arthritis) that he was on. He is addicted to taking pills--sleeping, pain, benydryl. His pain pills have been changed but to make a long story short getting a restful nights sleep is really hard so I would appreciate prayer for him to get sleep. On a side note my mother is now the keeper of the pills and that is also helping.

I will keep your Dad in my prayers for restful sleep, Sandi. I'm glad his medication is being more carefully managed. Hopefully, this will even him out on getting some sleep.

Mom said last night started out good but it didn't last. He was miserable so today they went to see the county PA and it turns out he has a bladder infection so maybe once they get that taken care of sleep will be easier
