  7. The favorite of my friends was the man who posted a picture of himself in dirty overalls and workboots, wearing a sweatstained bandanna on his big round head, beer belly figuring prominently. Then he posted an extreme closeup of his moon shaped face and crooked teeth, wearing glasses that were, as he noted, "just like granddaddys." One of my friends' husband, not known for shows of emotion, was literally lying on the floor giggling helplessly when I showed him my boy Jimmy.

  9. Bobbi, we are talking Dolly Parton sized. Also, this 700 pound Elvis with boobies rejected me!!! I was not rejecting him right away because I figured he got a lot of rejections and I did not want to hurt his feelings!

  13. My only question about the dryer is this: Who the hell designs these things so that you have to crawl back there to hook up the vent hose?

    Why not put the connection up higher so that you can push the washer back and then hook the hose up to the outside vent. Or does that make too much sense?

  15. I finally went out and looked under the tarp at the mower and copied down the serial and model #s. Then, I called Sears to see if my mower was still under warrantee and I don't exist!! It takes 4 cycle oil by the way. At least I know what kind it takes and the amount. 20 oz. the lady told me. But, the engine may have seized, then she suggests just getting a new one. So, who knows when I bought it. Couldn't find anything under various phone numbers or my name??? I'll return the 30 weight oil when I go back to work and buy the right one. Then "TRY" to cut the grass. We will see...

  18. Instinct, silly, silly the person who designs it like that...doesn't use it! It's like cars, who the heck puts all the controls in awkward places so you have to reach across to do various things. Or high heels that make a woman's (or man's in some cases) legs look good but ruin their back wearing the flipping things. Sorry got off the subject there, how is school going for you and your wife?

  20. The Elvis guy who rejected me gave this reason: "I think the physical distance between us is too great." (He lived in CA.) I was all like, Dude, you think you can be choosy? You should be sitting there seeing if anyone is left standing in your group of matches after the deafening sound of slamming doors is over. I'm trying to think what this guy listed as his occcupation...I think he said he sold animal carvings on the internet?

    Of course, why didn't I think of that.

    School is going well. So far this semester is looking pretty easy and I think I should come out of it with all A's unless I do something really stupid. Weird thing is that the semester just started and we already have to register for NEXT semester.

    Put in an application at Trader Joe's the other day as well as Office Max so I hope to be working very soon (extra money is good).

    And the whole thing about high heels was explained by an anthropology professor of mine. High heels, by their design, shift the center of ballance so that the only way to walk on them is by involving the hips more in the walking action. When women wear them you get that rolling hip action going which men like which is why all high heels seem to be designed by men

  29. Catwoman, I agree with you there, can find almost anything @ yard sales for a little bit of nothing. Especially ones where the person is getting divorced, they want to usually get rid of 'everything' for pennies on the dollar.
