Lynnmo, come here and talk often. Many of us have gone through the heartbreak of helping our friends over the bridge. When I lost my clueless, I too thought I would lose my mind. About a week after she crossed the bridge a friend called. She had brought in a stray cat who was pregnant. Pookie had 4 healthy babies and my friend had me come over and pick out one to be my future baby. I picked Gracie when she was 5 days old and visited her often. She saved my sanity and she is named Gracie, because by the grace of God she was born when I needed her most. Love on Frisky and Fluff often and the calico too. I hope you feel better and are able to sleep soon.

Lynn, great to hear back from you. Your babies are beautiful!! How wonderful that Cane fulfilled a major need in your life - to overcome your fear of kitties. He was super special then, because of him, you will be there for other kitties that come knocking on your door and pick you! I love to hear of the close realtionship that he had with Momma Kitty...I can just see them all snuggled up together , telling all of his new TDK friends who come to visit him: "I just need to spend some time with my best friend, then I'll play with all of you"

Lynn, please know that this grief and pain you're feeling now will eventually ease. Friskey, Fluff and Gator miss Cane and Momma Kitty, and need you. All of you can comfort eachother; let your furrkids help you through your grief.
Momma Kitty will be at the bridge waiting for Cane. She is there for Cane, just as Friskey, Fluff and Gator are here for you. Well I have to say I think I have cried so much that I'm all cried out. I got Cane's ashes back and put them together with Momma kitties ashes so they can be together. It kind of weird but my other cats are taking on some of Cane's traits. My one cat friskey never would get up on my stomach and sleep there like Cane did and now he does. He is also starting to climb the door frames like Cane did and has never done this before either. I guess Cane is letting me know he is still with me and that's comforting.
I would like to thank one of the members on this site for donating to Cane's vet bill, you know who you are, you are an angel! I need to keep that bill paid so I can make sure I have a place to take my other cats to for their yearly shots and emergencies. I still owe them a bit over $1000 and I started a chip-ins page to get donations but so far, nothing. I had a fund that was going to help with some of the bill or even send me a card to help buy cat food and supplies but I never received an email back from them. Also if you know of any other place I can put the link to my web site please let me know. I'm new to all this and not sure how to go about it.

Lynnmo...Love is never felt deeper than when we have to let it go. I'm sorry you had to endure such pain. I know that pain all too well losing 3 precious furrballs to the Rainbow Bridge in a 6 month span. Just know Cane could not be in better hands & paws than he is with Chester & all of our darlings at the Bridge. {{{HUGS}}}

Lynnnmo, I'm new, I came here for comfort two weeks ago when I lost my Bob to an animal attack. I've discovered there's no better place to find the support you need. I want to thank the two people that have donated to Cane's fund so far. I appreciate all the help I can get. It's hard to pay on Vet bills and take care of my other babies (food, litter, etc) I have at home when I only live on disability. The chip-in's site doesn't show the full names of the people who donate, just the first so I can't email them to say thanks so I will have to use the forum here, I hope you don't mind. Well so far I have had two people donate funds straight to the Vet and two people donate to my chip-in's page. Thank you guys, I apperciate all the help I'm getting. I still owe several hundred dollars to the Vet and still in need of food and things for my babies at home. Also I was unaware that you could click on peoples names and see their babies. I as well now have it to where you can click on my name and see my babies. I know this thread was started about eight months ago but a lot has happened since. I was going to start a new thread but I wanted everyone to see what happened and what has happened since then. I also have another post on here that has explain what has been going on in my life. I know holidays are hard but if anyone can help in any way it would be appreciated. I also want to thank all of you guys that have been here for me during these hard times.
