  1. Doesn't it somehow seem uglier when it's young girls who are the abusers? Such rage.

  3. They did it because they were BORED? Something's very wrong here.

  5. Apparently not much, 2bp. The article says the parents were unaware of what had happened to the hamster. I think if I had kids, and I saw that their hamster was suddenly missing three of its feet, I'd find out why.

  6. Very good point Leeny..how could they not notice...or if noticed not done everything they could to find out why...

  7. That's just it...They didn't notice the hamster and they don't notice their children and thus even they don't know what their kids are capable of. I hope that this opened the eyes of the parents to get a little more in tune with what's going on with their kids. I would like to have gotten some insight into the attitudes of the girls and what they are thinking now that they were caught. Are they sorry and remorseful or feeling resentment and anger for being snitched on? I'm almost afraid to know the answer.

  8. Appalling. I hope those girls can still learn empathy... otherwise, I fear for their futures.

  9. There is something wrong with the way kids are being raised(?) these days--probably both parents work and don't spend time teaching values. I hope they are severely punished--poor animal!
