   Bobbi got laid off from her job at the newspaper. She has been employed there for eight years. Ten people got laid off today and more layoffs are likely. They did give her a severance package which will get her through a couple of months and then she can draw unemployment. She frequently started the Night Shift from her office computer when she got to work. She does not have internet hooked up at home, but is determined to get connected so she can continue to participate on TDK. We will miss her until she comes back to us!!

   Please send your positive thoughts and the TDK white light to Bobbi!

    Oh, Bobbi - I am so sorry to hear this! Those things are always such a terrible shock.

    Come to Midland - EVERYONE is hiring here. Employers just can't find enough people - it's insane. When the economy everywhere else is bad, Midland and Odessa boom because of the gas and oil situation.

    Awwww, Bobbi, don't worry about it, things will work out for the best. We're all sending you white light, positive thoughts and {{hugs}} from here. WWM is right about Texas, they're hiring like crazy here in San Antonio, too. It's something to consider, anyway. Take care and hurry and get that internet connection up and running - you can use it to help with your job search too ;-)

    Bobbi...I know you'll rise above it all because you are extremely talented & a wonderful people person. I had the same thing happen to me after working the same no. of yrs,but,was a non-union job & was laid off on my birthday,of all days. I'm glad your getting a severance package. It does lessen the worry. Best of luck to you.
