Does the term "litter" of kittens (or puppies, or....) bother anyone else? Remember, we get fined in most states in the US for "littering". We are prompted to pick up "litter", do not "litter", on and on. Could this "confusion" be fueling some of the animal abuse we see these days? Litters are not trash.
