    Ok,
    I'm back.
    I do have a few jobs to do tonight.
    Just had to go get some soda and candy for my coworker who was having a low blood sugar. We are both diabetic, but she is much more advanced.

    I wrote the mileage down so I know how far he drove the truck. He "borrowed" it one day, when I didn't even know he had the keys, and ran a half tank of gas.

    My dauguter was soooo mad.
    Of course, she is always mad at him. He IS 17, after all. I was always mad at MY kids when they were that age. LOL

    every spring I buy a Praying mantis egg and hatch it in my kitchens widow box outside theres about 300 in the egg there soo small. but we only see a big one once a year but I try!!

    2 summers ago I had a box turtle lay eggs in my yard! I had to call the wildlife specialists to find out what to do to keep the eggs safe! We have raccoons and opossums! I had to make a metal fence box to cover it and it sat in my yard all summer. then one day we looked at it and we had 5 baby boxing turtles the size of quarters, Thet were soo cute! they just walked off into the woods haven't seen them since! It was a great experience though!! I am now a turtle rehabilitater. I am always stopping and taking turtles off the road or if they have been hit to the vets.

    Dorie, I'm envious.
    They closest we have been to doing rehab is watching the kildeer nest in our yard for 2 yrs in a row.
    We made sure the dogs left the eggs alone and we didn't mow that area.

    I love all animals except snakes! And even though I work in a school I am a certified vererinary assistant! But I bring my love for animals to the school last year we hatched chicks and this year I'm hoping to hatch ducklings.

    We are two of a kind. I think if I had my life to do over, or when I come back (if I am not one of my cats when I do) I will be a vet.
    I am still thinking of making our 2 acres a rehab. (You have to have several workshops in Austin to get certified. Impossible while I'm still working full time).
