I saw your note about the train, Susie. I don't think that passenger trains run through Dallas. Could you check Southwest Airlines?

I actually had a dream about this last night. I dreamt that there were tons of TDKer's at a meeting. I don't know who was organizing the meeting but there was some sort of a game to try and guess who everyone was. The only one that I recognized was GD because of her hair.
And, for some bizarre reason, KW and I hoisted a giant quilt up on what looked like the mast of a ship.
Really, I have got to leave the sleeping med's alone.....

Susie what about what's his name? He was so gung ho to keep the remainin g 3, he's not willing to help care for them? That's part of being a responsible pet owner!

WWM That would be soooooooooooo cool! Do we know anyone who works in a travel agency? Maybe we can look into the costs, The locations we would visit, pets allowed vs. not allowed etc. and try and plan it for 2 or 3 summers from now! That should be enough time to get it all worked out and hopefully all our tdker's can save up and get the time off! Whatcha think?

LV...are you kidding (about man/friend helping)? He has yet to clean a litter box (and there's 2 in his own bathroom for the 3 Muskateers to use. I goes as long as I'm in the mood to (to get even) go between box cleanings (they have others thru-out the house they can use so they don't have to deal w/the mess. If he b#*&@*s about the smell,I throw another litter box in there just to pi$$ him off.
I know...I have an evil streak,but,only when it comes to him.

Oh my Susie! heeheeheheehehehheh evil streak? Well about time! Good for you! Well hate to say it but he wanted to keep the three musketeers so he should be the caretaker not you. Especially if the litterboxes are in his bathroom! What a dumba^^.

I wonder if my brother would help me? He lives in Georgetown,Texas. That's just plain Texas crazy. Even if I could,I can't *giggles at self for dumb comment*. Now with the new brood in captivity,I have to be here to tend to them till Miss Siameezer Trollop cooperates & goes into the trap. I should've figured she'd be stubborn all the way to the end.
It's been fun dreaming of going to Texas tho.

Oh, Susie - couldn't someone watch them for a day or two? Georgetown is right outside of Austin, but it's not a bad drive to Dallas. Much closer than the distance that I'm driving!!!!
You could sure use a mini-vacation!

Altho I agree with the mini-vacation WWM, I'm being realistic. I have to deal with the kittens first,then focus on trying to grabs some light employment to get me started back in some kind of normalacy (sp?). I can't very well enjoy a vacation if I have no money to spend on the fun parts. I'm just going to have to enjoy it thru all your stories & pics when ya'll get back. Thank you so much for making me welcome to it tho. It means alot to me.

It turns out that Hubby is coming home next weekend to work on the yard and doing the trim on the floor, so I won't have to go via Austin after all--that reduces my drive from 5-6 hours to 4 1/2. I'm staying at Bobbi's and I think it would be worthwhile to bring my sister-in-law's homemade Bailey's recipe!

unfortunately, it turns out that the Meezers have a work related shindig on Saturday and so will not be able to make the Dallas drive. *pout*
