I asked the same thing - I was told that it would be TDK. Weather is supposed to be rain this afternoon/evening, nice tomorrow, rain Sunday.

Thanks, Jenni. Our paper said that there were tornadoes and hail in that area yesterday. So we were a bit nervous.

Yeah - I heard that, too. I live between Dallas & Fort Worth & it seemed pretty tame to me here. Lots of lightning with a little bit of thunder. I slept through the rain - never heard it. I'm new to the area, and, while I don't want to discount the potential of a tornado, it seems like the news makes it a little more dramatic than the reality.

WWM, I can't make this TDK Texas outing much to my chagrin, *sigh, wipes away little tear*,...... but I'm definitely in for the next one! Can't wait to see the pix so take lots... see if you can get one of Bobby driving FH's car ;-)

If I look wilted, y'all try not to notice. I don't think that my husband really realizes that our Miata does have a top, and we do have A/C. We have been known to ride around with the top down and the heater on.
So if I look like I just exited a hair dryer, just don't say anything......

It was SO much fun meeting everyone in person!! Just a great day. My husband and I weren't able to stay over night, being fearful of the storm that had the Dallas/Ft. Worth area dead in its sight. So we made the five hour drive to Dallas for lunch, met up with our TDK family, and then made the five hour drive back home. As tiring as it was to drive that long, we are kind of glad that we did that. We drove through some wicked weather cells building up and knew that there would be severe weather overnight Saturday and on Sunday. We were lucky and only had about 1/2 hour of driving through rain.
We would have loved to stay and have more visiting time. But at least we made it!
KW, could you send me your email address so that I can send you pictures?
