  1. I have another friend, my best friend as a matter of fact, that is doing an intervention with her twin brother this week-end. He lives with her mom and has gotten himself into some drug problems. Kim is very worried and I'm hoping that we (the TDK family's) when we pray it will help Kimmy have the strength to do what she needs to do. Please pray for Kim and for Tim. Love and Thanks Terri

  8. Best wishes being sent. I myself have to have this conversation with my man-friend. To him life is one big party, while I get to clean, cook, work, pay bills, ect. Now-its going to be my way or the highway !!! I like to have my fun just like everyone else.........but life does have its responsibilites. I mean god forbid he feeds the cats. Question-are they that stupid, or just act it?

  9. I hope your friend has a professional who will guide the intervention and that there is a residential bedspace immediately available for Tim to go into. I will keep Kim and Tim in my thoughts and prayers.

  10. Thanks KW, I did suggest just that and she and her mom and her other brother and their respect spouses are making sure that they are doing everything correctly.

    You bet I will most definitely be prayig for Kim and Tim.Having nearly lost everything in my life over the past 2.5years to alcohol, I'm keenly sensitive to others in this situation.Everyone deserves a second chance.(well...nearly everyone;you know what I meant)My prayers and wishes go out to them tonight.

  15. He has. I talked to Kim yesterday and he is "trying" to make things better. I am still worried about Kim. She is REALLY close to Tim and I am afrain that she will not take care of herself while she worries about him.

  16. It is hard to watch a loved one fall under the spell of drugs or alcohol. Only that person can decide that he/she is ready for treatment. I hope Tim gets into an appropriate level of care and stays in treatment long enough to not fall back into the old friends and places that can trigger a relapse. Tim and Kim are in my prayers.
