  1. LOL, WW!

  2. PMS, kitties have two glands (I'm not sure what kind...) in that area under their tails, and perhaps one of these glands is impacted. If that is the problem, it is easy to solve, and a quick trip to the vet should give you the answer.

  3. Yes, but make sure you are not standing too close when the vet squeezes it!

  4. CW, whew!! Forgot to mention that part ;-)

  5. WWM, must be something about the name , because my Jennyanydots Bombalurina had the exact same thing as your Bombalurina.
Best wishes to Miss Pipa, make sure it's just a little dirty and not an abscess (you would see a bulge in that area).

  6. Tigerlilly, my sweet Bomber was on diet food most of her life. But, sadly, her mamma and daddy couldn't stand her pitiful looks and we gave her table scraps. She was so chubby! We would tell her not to run because of the way her tummy would sway. But a sweeter, smarter kitty you could never have known. I sure loved that little girl. She was 18 years old when she left us and not a day goes by that I don't wish for her.

Those abcesses do have a nasty tendency to rupture on their own... usually while the kitty is sleeping on your bed. *Whew*

  7. My sister's little dog had a anal absess and the vet gave her medicine and took care of it. Don't remember exactly what was done for it. Warm soaks maybe? Awwww poor little thing. She is half chihuahua and half jack russel terrier. Such a cutie and loves to lay on your lap!

  8. Did Pipa go to the vet yesterday, PM? How is our girl today?

  9. Hi CW thanks for asking!
Well we went to the new vet. She didn't know Pipa yet but she is the one that realized that Melon was allergic to the chicken in the cat kibble and cured his dandruff and scabs (the poor thing!).
She loved Pipa and kept saying how pretty she was and how well educated *proud*.
She took a good look at her behind and it was perfectly OK, asked for some samples just in case it was worms but she said that it was probably just a bit of waste that got stuck and that dragging their behind is the natural way they have to clean themselves.

So... Yay! Pipa is good, beautiful and boy is her owner/slave happy!

  11. I'm so happy to hear that it was nothing after all. I am a *little* bit disappointed that I now will miss my chance to be first in line to pay to see my name written on the floor!

Maybe Pipa can be trained to perform this feat at your wedding~!

Though "Congratulations" is a long word...maybe there is a shorter word in Spanish that she could write?

  12. YAYYY! Good news on Friday! (jumps up and down, waving hands wildly)

  13. Pipa's Mum, if you can get Pipa to write "Congratulations" in poop with her behind, I guarantee you can get your 5 minutes of fame on the David Letterman show, in their occasional "Stupid Pet Tricks" segment. LOL!

  14. What do you mean "Stupid pet tricks"? Anncetera!?!
    Stupid?
If she can write "Congratulations" on the floor with poop and no spelling mistakes she would be smarter then some men I know!!!

  15. Yea! Miss Pipa was only grooming herself :) Keeping herself as pretty and waste free. She is so beautiful, you can't tarnish a kitty that beautiful with any type of waste:)
