Protecting the Military from immorality

Alright, so they can't use their "taxpayer supplied paycheck" to buy the stuff on base. Are they next going to try to ban it from stores around the bases? I mean the money still comes from the taxpayers..what a crock!!!

In view of the fact that Medicare pays for Viagra for convicted sex offenders, what's a few racy pictures at the taxpayers expense? At least the soldiers are doing something commendable for their country.
(This isn't meant to start anything political. I may or may not support what the politicians do, but I am always grateful for the enlisted men and women who volunteer to protect us.)

Oh for crying out loud...The military soldiers more than earn their pay...how dare anyone say how they can spend it!!!I certainly don't consider Playboy and Penthouse true pornography and if a soldier is laying his life on the line...leave his reading preferences alone!

Besides, they're probably just reading the excellent articles, not looking at the pictures. lol

Oh heaven forbid that anyone who works 20 hours out of 24 going out on patrols in an extremely hostile and hazardous place, lugging over 70 lbs of ammo, weapons and armor, and is in that horrible envoirnment for 15 months, then back maybe 9 months only to return...... be "allowed" to look at a magazine with nude women or men. Gosh! We simply can't have that - after all, we are paying their salaries and not to just sit around, hanging out with their buddies, looking at Playboy (or reading the articles!). What is this world coming to???
Gee, I seem to remember that during WWII and well after, all fighters, bombers, and escorts had nude women painted on the nose of the aircraft. And Bob Hope - how dare he make those UFO visits to the troops with women in the show who were wearing very scanty clothing. We sure wouldn't want to remind the men and women what they have left back home, would we? And those WWII pin-ups girls??? Shameful, simply shameful.
Well, you know what? I personally would like to do two things .. 1)Ask Rep. Broun when the last time was that he served in the military and in combat and 2) kick his butt.
Strong letter to follow!

And why are they making a big deal out of 'taxpayer funded' salaries? It's a salary they are provided for doing their jobs. My employer doesn't get to tell me what I do with the money they pay me. I'm glad my tax dollars go into a soldier's pocket to do with as he will. I'm not so happy about the portion that goes to congressmen.

I am deeply concerned...will the Soldiers still be supplied with prophylactics in their kits? Or will they have to find other resources to pay for the consequences for when they are not available or fail or not used ?
Will they get their rations of chocolate that I pay for?
Pass a law telling this guy what he can spend his taxpayer salary on? I have a better idea....FIRE HIM.
