  1. I'm flying so I'll be listening to some CDs, but once I'm there and FH picks me up it's gonna be Show Tunes all the way.

    I'm kidding.

  6. OMG, of course, the separation anxiety.... a definite problem. My kits absolutely hate the suitcase(s) because "meowma" used to travel 3 out of 4 weeks for business when they were very young... Don't know who hated my leaving most, the kits or me.

    Perhaps I could try to find a travel agent who could help us put together a TDK cruise, long as we have a 2 yr. lead time....

  8. HM, don't think you have to worry about them "peeing" on your stuff; just have to deal with two or three days of "getting the backside" from both boys when you get home.... They'll probably be a little uppity for a while, til they're sure you understand they don't want you to go away without consulting them first ;-)

    How about I start a new thread next week to test the waters for a TDK cruise with the 2 yr. lead time.... ??

  10. OMG, I've just read this entire thread while playing the music I have on the computer. I have so many of the songs you all mentioned. Stairway to Heaven, Afternoon Delight(our song when we were teenagers), A Horse with no name, American Pie, Shambala,Lemon Tree,A Whiter shade of Pale,You Don't Own me. Have I dated myself?
    Bcgagnon, you had me laughing out loud, the 'song that never ends' is notorious in our house. If someone wants to annoy someone else they just start singing that song and the 'earworm' takes over. We once sang it non-stop on a 1 hour car trip just for the h*ll of it.
