    Poor Gayle, what a turmoil these last few months have been for her! Was this unexpected? Please let her know that we will all be thinking of her and praying for her - and Larry and the girls (and you!) as well.

    Thank you everyone. I feel so sorry for Gayle. N&NM, it was sort of unexpected-- he had his gall bladder removed about a month ago, apparently it had been undiagnosed and was gangrenous when it was removed. He seemed to be recovering quite well but then they said his liver "threw a stone"(?) which lodged in his pancreas and caused massive amounts of damage. They said something about his body being so acidic that it was destroying his other organs--within a few days, he was on life support and just didn't make it. Gayle has one brother, younger, and her dad's sister--neither of them would take any responsibility for any decisions so she has had to do this all. Any other time, she would be o.k. with that, but she has just about had it. I am trying to help her all I can but I am very worried about her.
