Figured not many are around yet, so I'm opening the cafe. Can't cook and tried this morning to make my own coffee, which I had to throw out, it was so bad! Therefore, I'm bringing in catering from DD across the street from the gym:
There is coffee of all sorts with all the fixings, croissants, bagels with different flavors of cream cheese, donuts, muffins, my favorite sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant and much more.

Bobby had a very nice trip to Texas and Baby Mi-Mi enjoyed being an only kitty for a day.
CM, the weekend wasn't too bad - just not long enough! Got up at 5:45 on Saturday and went to both dog-stiing houses before going and opening the gym by 7:45. Worked until 1:30 (supposed to be 1:00 but the hockey group kids took forever to get out og here). Then I went back and walked dogs at both houses and home to take a nap. Later did the 30 minutes of alternating running and walking %$#%# trainer guy had said to do. Went back to dog-sitting house and slept over there. Got up and walked the dogs the next morning and then went to my tennis clinic that started at 9:00. THey ended up having too many people signed up, so I said I'd sit out. Instead I hung out and watched and chatted with people when they were rotating out (kind of like speed-dating - a couple of minutes with everybody before they move on. Never done speed-dating, but it seems the same).
After tennis I went to XBF's house since he'd received the title to my car in the mail. He spent some time looking at the car, too, and determined what it needs is new, clean transmission fluid.
After that I went home and relaxed - did nothing but hang out with the boys, read nap etc. Very much needed!And now it's Monday again!!! I'm going to take it easier this week, I hope! I may work one night this week, but that's it. Scheduled a tennis lesson with a friend on Tuesday night, so I'm looking forward to that.

Siobhan, I am sorry to hear that happened to your Tulips. Who would do that??? Idiots. I have very few in my yard, but I do love tulips, those are my favorite flower.
Yes, GD, I hope Bobsky didn't pick up a habit while at the luncheon :)
Maddie is eating breakfast and I will get mine soon..She woke up screaming and I mean screaming at 2am. So needless to say, I had to get her relaxed and back down and so I didn't get back to sleep till after 3 so my head is all muddled. I was hoping she would sleep in a bit later but noooooo....So I think mommy might nap when daughter takes her nap :) Of course that's about 4-5 hours from now

I don't know kittymom, I hope not, she is still on her meds and we go back to the dr on Thurs to check to see if the meds worked this time. It could have been a bad dream, I have no idea..she wasn't pulling at her ear or anything and she let me hold her while she was laying down in my lap, so I would assume if it was her ear, laying down would hurt more.

Good morning, everyone! Everyone seems so bright-eyed this morning. I'm really dragging. Just a cup of tea for me this morning, if you have some ready. Oh, and maybe a chocolate chip muffin on the side.
Just trying to get back into regular routine after the tax season. I'm glad it's over. We still have extensions to do, but there's not the frantic rush and I don't have as much to do with that.
My cats are sure glad that I'm home more and can spend time with them. They go to the vet this Friday for their yearly check-up and shots. They won't be so happy that day, but I have the day off to spend with them (and do some house cleaning).

Fresh squeezed orange juice and grapefruit juice (both from the Sunshine State), cranberry juice, coffee (all flavors, roasts, and blends) with the the nummies to add to it, lattes, pancakes (take your choice of type), french toast (both stuffed and unstuffed), bacon, ham, sausage (patties and links and gravy), all kinds of omelets, hashbrowns or american fries, muffins, toast, bagels, omelets (any filling), and of course a dozen at least TDK Employment Agency Kittens. Bog and Clark (see threat named Tiger) are standing ready at the worm hole to go and visit Aunties and Uncles!

LadyKat, here is some tea and a chocolate chip muffin. I am so happy for you that tax season is over. My niece works for an accounting firm and I don't get to talk to her for about 4 months or longer with tax time. She stays all night at times. I think it's crazy!!

Good morning all! Just stopped in for a quick coffee--gotta go get ready for the funeral for my daughter-in-love's father. Siobhan, it may not have been human vandals--squirrels love tulip flowers/buds--they will neatly snip them off and eat them--I have several clumps a ways from the house that get decimated nearly every year! Been meaning to tell you all that I am a certified Master Gardener, so it you have any plant questions, I would be happy to help if I can!
