  3. I'll be around for the next 7 hrs MCW.
But I do have work tonight, and I really do like paydays, so I'll be in and out.

  5. Happy Friday!
I got great news today! After 2 months and 4 rounds of antibiotics, the staph infection is finally gone! Woo Hoo!!!
So, it's Friday, payday, and I'm finally better!
I thought I'd never get rid of it! What a relief!
Madcatwoman, I hope you get to feeling better.
It's no fun to have stomach problems or any other problems. If getting in bed will make you feel better, then do it.

  6. Good for you Cathi - that's great news!

  7. It is. It's such a relief... I was getting worried.
The antibiotics kept getting harder to take. They went from normal to harsher types. I understand stomach problems because 1 of the last one's I took causes colitis. I had such stomach pains! I fought to keep taking them but they weren't the pills to knock the infection out. When the doctor rescribed them again, I said NO WAY!!!
Instead he gave me an antibiotic I never heard of and they finally did the trick.

  9. MCW - what do you take for your migraines?

Posted 4 years ago by Cathi in NC #

  10. I have a drug called Zomig - you take one as soon as you feel a migraine start to hit. They work very well, but I'm starting to think that a daily preventative tablet might be better - more proactive than reactive. Another thing to talk over with Doc next week.

  11. hey all, I am going strong at work, one of the nurses just brought her baby into ER. But I get off at 10 tonight. Congrats on payday bobbi, I got one more week to wait for that ;-(

  12. I take Maxalt and for the nasty one's that the Maxalt doesn't help, I have Midrin.
When both of these fail, I go to the doctor for 2 shots.
For prevention, the doctor gave me Flexiril. My migraines come from stress, too. My neck and shoulders get all knotted up. The muscle relaxer has worked for about 1 1/2 years now.

  15. Hey Cathi,
I thought 99% of migraines came from stress.

  16. It's bedtime here and I'll be retiring soon because our central heating has packed up and it cold tonight. A nice warm bed suddenly seems very attractive.

  17. I think you're right.
    I have plenty.

Posted 4 years ago by Cathi in NC #

  18. A muscle relaxer is another consideration Cathi - I know I'm carrying tension just about everywhere right now, and feel all tensed up and horrible. Maybe I just need to get drunk!

Posted 4 years ago by MadcatwomanintheUK #

  19. Pollys Mum, your heating broke?
    I'd get in bed too.

Posted 4 years ago by Cathi in NC #

  20. MCW - I'll get the Stoli!

  23. Cheers indeed! We can say we're wetting the baby's head for Buster's Momma's little visitor (any excuse...)

Posted 4 years ago by MadcatwomanintheUK #

  24. Cheers!
OK, for those who don't drink vodka...
I have Bailey's, Kaluha, wine coolers, wine...
Anything really. I stocked up while working at the ABC Store last year.
