  1. I am new to this site i need help. sat262008 my husband and i was headed to coolidge az to do ajob he is a painter, well anyway we were in an accident and our 6-8 week year old kitten ran out of the van after it wrecked we could not find him anywhere we were on Interstate 10 coming out of Quartzsite AZ when we had the accident we totaled our van we were a few miles from exit 54 so think our kitten is that area. if you picked up a grayish white kitten He has bron paws and a brownisgraytale. brownish gray on his head. his eyes are blue like the sky. his name is sky. if you know picked him up , If you know how we might find him please Email at beancynthia682yahoo.com or contact at 205 260 5902 please only call this number if you have our kitten. please do not call if you do not have our kitten. thanks cynthia

    Did you let the shelters in the area know what happened maybe some kind soul picked up Sky and brought him there!!

  9. Oh no!! Hugs and prayers, positive thoughts that you find him really soon!! How sad..... Poor baby must be so scared and he probably misses you terribly!! :( Awwwwwww.....

  10. Oh Cynthia, I hope you find him soon. The accident probably frightened him too. Does he know your scent so if you leave an article of clothing, he may show up? (obviously not too close to the highway) I'll be thinkng of you.

  11. Cynthia - Be sure to check with more than just the closest shelter. If someone picked up Sky, they may have traveled a little further before they found a shelter. Also, contact any private animal rescue places you can find. Many of those places share information so if you contact just a few and ask them to spread the word, you may find Sky quicker. The police that responded to the accident might also be a good source. At least they may know of places you could check.

    I hope you and your husband weren't physically hurt in the accident.

  13. Thanks for the idea of the clothing i did not think of that. we are also without a vichle. I will mention it to my husband he would lay in my husbands clothes.

  16. Check with DPS and see if the officer who was doing the report can check the area when he goes out there. The weather is getting hot quickly up in that area and with your kitten being an inside kitten it is definately at a disadvantage, not trying to be mean about that. If you can call the county sheriff also (I can't remember which county that is off-hand), ask for their animal control office and call them, explain the situation. Might also want to put an ad in the paper about the accident and that you are looking for your furrbaby. Good luck with this terrible incident.

  19. My husband wanted me to ask if anyone lives in the salome az area near or around exit 54 vickburg exit he says the skid marks to our van is out there would you please.............. go look

  25. Have you put up notices in the area? Call local vet's offices as well... maybe even a humane cat trap set in the area?
