   Hi all,

   We've upgraded the software that runs the site. This is what it means:

   * for a few days, there might be some weirdness in terms of logging in and posting for a minority of users. It's possible that deleting cookies will help, although bear in mind if you follow this route you'll lose any saved logins and password for other sites.

   * there should be no more issues with normal posts being marked as spam and not appearing online.

   * you can now upload avatars - click on the 'view your profile' link and you'll see an 'avatar' button top-right. You can use this to upload an image.

   * watch this space for further updates!

   Well, I thought we would see it on that page but I uploaded an avatar and my page still shows the identicon. Is there somewhere else to see it?

    It's a picture beside/under/over your name that you choose and upload. You can make it a picture of anything. I uploaded Huddington for my avatar and it doesn't show up. But I have faith in KittenMaster.
