  1. Boyznme, why only two hours of sleep?

Posted 4 years ago by Catwoman #

  2. Can I please have more coffee?

Posted 4 years ago by Boyzandme #

  3. Oh, my 18 year old was really sick last night. Yeah I know he's 18, but poor guy was really not feeling well. So, I just sat with him for a long time, until he stopped coughing and fell asleep.

  4. The will probably be the last time I get to mother him, he graduates hight school in two weeks :(

  5. Hi can I please get some coffee and cats? Work not going very well, feeling sorry for myself. Sigh, never mind, only another 3 or so hours to go!

  6. Don't count on it, Boyznme. My college kid got sick at school and bombarded me with text messages..."I'm sick! I need someone to take care of me!"

Also, they have a way of coming back home...he will be home for the summer in about a week. He is about to turn 20.

  7. Oh, man, it's morning already? Coffee, please.

Hey, Boyzandme, you'll probably find yourself with several other chances to mother your young adult son. I'm in my late 20s and still find myself needing my mom. I don't think we ever outgrow that, particularly if we are close to our moms.

  8. metsa, what is going wrong at work? Here, have 120 for a snuggle. He is feeling put out that I keep removing his purring self from the keyboard.

  9. Hi Catherine! I don't know where Terri went with the coffee...I have a nice pot of tea, though! It's East Frisian blend!

  10. I'm 43 and I sometimes wish my Mom could take care of me! Thank you Catherine and CW for reminding me of this. I also have a 20 year old, I'm going to go pick him up this weekend, can't wait to see him...

  11. From tea site:

Cold, wet and dreary, Germany's North Sea coast (East Frisia) is the ideal spot to drink hot tea. And the East Frisians do! They consume more black tea than anyone else in the world. This blend was given to us by one of the leading suppliers of tea to finicky East Frisia, Bernd Wulf, and we dedicate it to his memory. It is a blend of hearty Assam that is lightened by Darjeeling and Ceylon. Try it layered with cream and crystallized sugar.

  13. My boss shouted at me yesterday for not doing enough and still working on the same things I started on. Which is fine enough in itself, but I see him at least every fortnight (and often every week) and always tell him what I've done and what I'm planning, and he's never had a problem with it till now, always been happy with my plans, occasionally given some advice for making things run more smoothly but thats all. And I have an important report due in and now I don't know what to do. Don't know if he was just having a bad day and took it out on me, or if he genuinely thinks that, and if so why he didn't say earlier. Sigh!

    I think I might need 120 for a while, he's very soft!

  19. Hi everyone, we are back from the Dr. All the prayers and white light worked. Maddie's ear infection is cleared up. Not entirely about 85% and the other 15% will clear up on it's own, so no meds or tubes!! YEAH!!!!!!

Now I will have a cup of hot coffee...and whipped cream too. Whipped Cream, just like chocolate should be it's own food group :)

  20. {{hands cup of coffee to CM and plate with a chocolate cookie to Miss Maddie from Uncle John with a sippy cup of juice}}

Can I get a hug, Miss Maddie?

  21. Maddie loves King Bog and Clarkbutt, she gives them lots of hugs, kisses and scritches.
*Maddie climbs through the wormhole to give Uncle John a hug and thanks him for her cookie and juice*
