    Good morning, all. Since I'm new here, I thought I'd "introduce" myself with treats. So, I'd like to offer for the Cafe this morning:

    From Maine, where I grew up, fresh blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup
    From Seattle, where I moved after college, some really good coffee
    Any from New York City, where I live now, bagels, lox & cream cheese from the local deli.

    I'm happy to report that I found out where the wandering kitty belongs, the one I tried to help yesterday. He actually belongs to our next door neighbor, so if he ever escapes again, at least I know whose door to knock on.

    Good morning all!!! It's Caturday and John and I both have the day off!!!Yea!! It's rare for that to happen! anyway, we are planning to spend the day together, so I need to fortify myself. Kilroy, I LOVE bagels and cream cheese and lox. Can I have a sesame bagel with the works please. and I am glad that someone else is working the cafe today!!! hugs to all!

    Hi Kilroy! Glad the lost kitty has a happy ending. We needed that!!!!!! I would like some sausage gravy over biscuits w/eggs sunnyside up on top of the gravy and coffee. Some fresh blueberries on the side would be wonderful too!!!

    Just popping back in between doing the Saturday crossword puzzle with my husband and sitting down to real blueberry pancakes (as opposed to virtual ones). I may not be around much the rest of the day, so I'll leave the griddle and toaster plugged in, so folks can help themselves to goodies.

    Hi guys! I'm just stopping in to say hi...I'm watching the Kentucky Derby....It's always soooooooo exciting!
    Today's kitty is Elaine's kitty from Portland...Lucky Lacey is a verrrrry pretty kitty. I can see how Elaine could be frustrated...I'm glad Fraser took another look at her.
    WHAT??? No Mint Julips for breakfast today???? I've never had one...but always feel like I need one on Derby Day..teehee
