I'm so happy that you've found Shadow and he's home where he belongs! Sorry I've missed all the previous posts about his wayward wandering, but I can certainly understand your love of Shadow and share your joy and thanksgiving that he is finally back with his loving family. :)

Hello everyone, I just got done reading all of your wonderful posts and I just had to say thanks again. It's wonderful to have our home come back to normal (or at least as normal as OUR house can be).
Corpral cuddling? This has been practiced ever since our little traveler came back. While he always lived up to his name, he is "shadowing" more than ever. He is sooooooooo happy to be home and he shows it every day. Mommy and Daddy are thrilled as well, treating him like a typical toddler! "Have you seen Shadow, where is he????" "I'll go look...............he is still sleeping on his blanket in the livingroom". OK. 15 min. pass..........."Where is Shadow?" "I'll go look.................no change but he moved his paw" OK.

The flowers were nothing really, just a small way of saying thank you for her sharp eyes. If she hadn't seen him then, we would have continued on our way up the street AWAY from him. He might still be out there and Michael and Candy both would have been in the nut ward by now!
Funny how people who say they are NOT really cat people can get so wrapped up in a little fuzzbutt and become completely unglued at the thought of losing the fuzzbutt.
I knew when I first suggested to them that they keep him that it was the very best home for Shadow. I'm sooooo glad that time proved all of us right!!

YAYYYY!!! Tansey thought she wanted to be a Big Ferocious Outdoor Kitty(tm) one time and she got out and somehow got frightened and hid in some pricker bushes. We were frantically calling and we would sometimes hear her "meow" back, but it took us almost ten minutes to figure out she was in her very own yard and very well hidden in pricker bushes. She finally came out with gentle coaxing from Mommy and she was VERY apologetic.

I just had to tell you this, I just called to BS with Michael and he told me that they had taken Shadows blanket and wrapped it around a bean bag chair. Now Shadow likes to climb on top of the bean bag and play king of the mountain and then roll down to the bottom to start all over again!!! God I wish they could video tape that one!!
Yes, now that Shadow is home he is getting the "Rock Star Treatment"!!

Hi all, I just wanted to give you a Shadow update:
Michael and Shadow are now inseperable. While he would never admit he loved Shadow before, he states it often and lovingly now! He used to laugh at me when I told him that I prefer the company of my kids to most people, now he shares the oppinion! He says that he sees nothing but gratitude everyday from Shadow for the simplest of things from filling a water bowl to just talking to him. Michael is now a fullfledged CAT PERSON!! (I knew he had it in him)
Last night he fell asleep and woke up a little disoriented and the first thing he said is "Where's Shadow"!!
Yes true love concers all and he tells Shadow everyday that he has a furrever home as long as Michael lives. It was sooo sweet I had happy tears in my eyes.
Now more than ever I do believe that Shadow fell out of that window because now he won't even go near a door let alone a window. He never wants to be away from his home EVER again! God I love happy endings!
