From what I understand from Ruggles and Rotley, size is no problem and two kits can go at one time, since many of them like to hold paws. The worm hole is also big enough to allow a very large Maine Coon/Manx mix through the hole even when he is carrying a basket of biscotti and a thermos of French Roast vanilla coffee (Ruggie likes taking those to WWM when he and Rotley visit Willow and Windi.)
If only one kitty wants to go through the worm hole, that is fine, but they can cell phone a friend on the exit to escort the single kitty through the wormhole if there is any timidity. The trip is very quick, no meals are needed, and no spacesuits are required.
The wormhole is soft and swirling and filled with bright clouds and a lot of light -- not dark or scary at all -- and the boys love using it to get to Windi and Willow's home, and sometimes to the TDK Roller Rink.
As a matter of courtesy, the lads always bring gifts when going through to another location. From what I can see from various catalogs in my studio, my two are thinking about purchasing a deluxe litter box as a gift. Not sure what that is about.
And they always come back from their trips full of stories!
Also, I've noticed some worm hole activity with the kits and people who are grieving. Ruggles considers himself a "therapy cat," although Rotley says that he is the one with the "most soothing purrs."
Worm holes are very good things indeed!
